Establishing the Kingdom: Building a Personal Altar

Today, we are going to go through the practical ways for thy Kingdom to come into a territory so that the Will of the LORD will be done just as it is in Heaven. Last week, we fully got to understand that God has a role to play and we have ours to play. Such an understanding can cause a major shift in our prayer lives because when it comes to areas where we can take action, we will rather pray to God for instructions instead of praying for Him to do it.

Is there witchcraft in your family? Is occultism taking over your territory? Perhaps, you’re abroad and the place is so dark you barely even find another person in the Kingdom of Light. There is a technology to uproot darkness from the land, so Light will rest on the land. There are so many examples in the Scriptures already. I have discussed this under the Gideon Strategy and also the Deborah Strategy. For today, I am going to lay the entire process bare so that with God, what looks impossible will become possible. You’re not small at all. You alone can light up the world.

Personal Altar

The first thing to do is to set up your personal altar. This is why many believers lose contentions and lose grounds. They come with blood sacrifice and you come with the Blood of Jesus. They come in the name of their gods like Goliath, but you come in the Name of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies like David did. However, when it’s now altar vs altar, the Christian has no altar. Ow! In the Tabernacle of Moses, there were two altars. The bronze altar at the outer court is the Altar of the Cross, which gives you access into courts of God in the first place. However, the priest has a personal altar in the Holy Place.

This altar was not for blood. The priests performed all the blood sacrifices on the bronze altar. Hebrews 9:12-14 informs us that the Blood of Christ is the best and that we need no other blood. Our personal altar is for incense. Not physical incense like in the Old Testament. Revelations 5:8 makes us understand that our prayers are the incense. Psalm 141:2 confirms that. I know you pray. However, there’s a way to attend to the altar. One is the fact that the altar needs to be serviced daily. Also, there are specific times it needs to be serviced.

Prayer Watches

God taught the priesthood He established in Leviticus to keep the fire on the altar burning continually forever. Also, there were times in the day when it was serviced. That’s what the Bible calls watches. See, when Jesus said “watch and pray”, He wasn’t only saying watch as in look. I know you pray, but praying only when you feel like it is dangerous. That means when you don’t feel like it, you won’t pray. Praying only when it’s a corporate meeting is also dangerous. That means you have no personal altar. To pray continually on your personal altar, have specific times you have intentionally set aside to pray. Pray at the watches. What are the watches? There are 4 watches in the day and 4 watches in the night. 12am, 3am, 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm. These were the watches from the Old Testament into the New.

  • 6am – Mark 1:35, Psalm 55:17
  • 9am – Acts 2:15, Mark 15:25
  • 12pm – Acts 10:9, Psalm 91:6, Acts 22:6, John 4:6
  • 3pm – Acts 3:1, Acts 10:30, Luke 23:44-46, Mark 15:34
  • 6pm – Psalm 55:17, Daniel 9:21, Ezra 9:5
  • 9pm – Matyt 26:40-41, Genesis 28:11-12
  • 12am – Exodus 12:29, Judges 16:3, 1 Kings 3:20, Job 34:20, Ruth 3:9, Psalm 119:62, Matthew 25:6, Acts 16:25
  • 3am – Exodus 14:24, Judges 7:19, Lamentations 2:19, Psalm 63:6

One thing you’ll realise in these verses too, is that these are mostly the times God makes an intervention in the earth. These are the times marked for encounters for many also. If you don’t keep watch, you can easily miss seasons. It is a powerful thing to wake up at midnight to pray, for instance. Now that you know this, set an alarm and pray at these times. Start small and stay consistent. If you happen to be at school or work during your set time, pray within you. So you see how there’s no excuse to pray? You can pray for an hour everyday by simply praying for 10 minutes at 6 prayer watches. With time, the burden to pray will increase and you will pray till you are released. For now, start small.

What will you pray about? Speak in tongues. If you need prayer points, then pray Scripture-based prayers only, for now. Once you are consistent and Heaven knows they can rely on you for your quota, you will be given assignments as an intercessor. You will begin to pray for people who don’t even know you. Be sure to study Scriptures daily too, otherwise your prayers won’t change you. Every priest lives a consecrated life. Your life will literally be shaped by the altar as you dedicate yourself to attending the secret place of the Most High.

Next week, we will talk about how, with time, God will promote you to service your family altar and uproot many carcasses in your family practically. For now, don’t put aside what you have just realised. Act upon it. I will encourage you to read the Bible verses for the prayer watches. Don’t wait to set everything right first. Start today! Having a personal relationship with God and a personal prayer life is a must for every believer. It’s not for pastors alone. Start small and build. Before you realise, hearing God’s Voice, casting out devils and living an abundant life will become your new normal. For a Christian, the supernatural is our natural life.

Being Responsible & Playing your Role

A theology that focuses on what Christ has done for us alone but depraves us of any form of responsibility and response is at one side of the extreme. If it was only about the finished works of Christ, the New Testament should have ended at the Gospels. Every single book in the New Testament gives us practical instructions, clearly showing that our part to play is not only now possible in Christ, but important. You have an assignment. This is the general description of everyone’s destiny in Christ. He gave us His Spirit, His Life, His Grace, in fact, Himself, so He can continue His good pleasures on the earth. It’s not only about what God can do for you, but what God can do with you and through you. Be an earthen vessel!

If God Wants, He Will Do It

“If God wants to do it, He will do it” is the mindset of an irresponsible person. It makes it look like certain things don’t happen or didn’t happen because God didn’t want to do it. It is very similar to “whatever will be will be”. It’s a philosophy of people who will never contend for anything and think everything will just be handed over to them. Even babies cry for help. Sit there and compose yourself as you suffer. Do you think the devil is merciful? He is the epitome of wickedness, my dear. It doesn’t matter what he has done to you before. It doesn’t matter how long he has done it to you. As long as you remain irresponsible, you’ll suffer for a long time.

Your parents raised you because they love you unconditionally. They also raised you to be responsible. It’s the same with God. You will forever remain a baby Christian if you think everything is up to God so therefore you don’t have to do anything. It is babies who operate like that. Babies don’t have to work or even be responsible for themselves. They don’t even bathe themselves. Their parents do all that for them. However, a time comes when you grow up. The fact that you now have responsibility does not mean your parents have stopped loving you unconditionally. The Fatherhood of God raises us up to be responsible for our actions and input.

See, God is always willing. That is always 100% the case. It’s not whether God is willing or not, it’s whether you’re responsive or not. There’s no instance where you do nothing. God provided the people of Israel manna but they were still required to go out and pick it up. See, things don’t just happen o…things are made to happen. As children, you see things happen. You wake up every morning to find food in the kitchen. You always have clothes to wear, you pay nothing to have a roof over your head and all. As an adult, things don’t happen. Rather, you make things happen. If you don’t speak, the mountain won’t move. If you don’t ask, you will not receive. If you don’t seek, you won’t find. Take responsibility!

God will do what He alone can do. However, as a Father, He will never do what He has given you the ability to do. God will wake you up in the morning but He will not brush your teeth for you. He alone can do what He does, and He never does what He has enabled you to do. Read that again. If God did what you can do, you will say you did it. Yet, as humans, we want to play God’s part by taking things into our own hands, leaving the part we are rather supposed to play. God is the one responsible for giving you a talent, but make no mistake; He will demand a return-on-investment. Yes, God has demands. He will require of you. Everything He gives is free and yet, it will cost you everything.

When we don’t understand these things well, we will ask God why He has woken us up in the middle of the night to pray and say “couldn’t He have used that energy used to wake us up to pray for something to just do that something He is talking about?”. Stop playing that “God, you can do all things” card on God and get up and pray. The fact that God has involved us does not mean He can’t do it on His own. It is a privilege He has given you to share in His glory. Don’t fail God. Don’t disappoint Him. Be a person after His heart by doing all His Will. Whatever the Master tells you to do, do it.

What Necessitates our Role

When God created the earth, He gave us the dominion. Therefore, anything God wants to do on earth should involve us. That’s the protocol He set in place. That’s why in Ezekiel 22:30, God is searching for a man. If a president wants to do something in a region, he does it through a Regional Minister. Otherwise, why will you appoint a Regional Minister if you keep bypassing the person to enact things in the region you gave them authority over? I hope you get it now. It’s a legality. You now understand why, although Jesus was predestined to be born, Anna had to stay in the Temple day and night to pray.

Write this down and never forget it; NONE OF GOD’S PRINCIPLES CONTRADICTS THE OTHER. God does not break His precepts to fulfill another. God will not suspend one command to accommodate the other. Grace does not negate fasting. Faith does not negate works. Favour does not negate prayer. Mercy does not negate faithfulness. Forgiveness does not negate obedience. Love does not negate responsibility. Omniscience does not negate demands.

Not only is our role important, it is commanded by God. God can do it without you but has chosen to do it with you. If you don’t play your role, it will amaze you the number of things that won’t come to pass in your life. Apart from the legalities involved, God is not going to waste His resources when there is no one on the receiving end. He is the God of abundance, not waste. If no one in a generation is responsive, He is patient enough to wait for another generation. What God wants to do will be done at the end of the day, with or without you. Your cooperation means it will come to pass in your lifetime. Your lack of cooperation means it will pass you by but what God wants to do will come to pass.

God has a 100% track record. He has always played His part. If you take action, it is for your own benefit. You already know what God requires of you. You have already received instructions from God. If you obey, it is for your own benefit. God remains God whether you win or lose, succeed or fail, make it or give up. It’s up to you to obey God. Whatever you think is up to God to do is not a problem at all. Always have the mindset that God has already played His part because He indeed has. So at the end of the day, you can’t blame God for anything.

If You Don’t Fight the Devil, He Won’t Fight You?

I don’t know why, as a Christian, we are trying to avoid warfare. There has to be a deception somewhere. The Bible literally calls you a soldier, more than a conqueror, calls our journey the good fight of faith, instructs us to put on our spiritual armour and tells you who you are up against. Why are you running from the battle? Do you think the devil is not interested in destroying you or what? Someone who has checked your background, preplanned ways of destroying you and has tried to kill you countless times?

In a way, you don’t even need to be a Christian for the devil to hate you. You just have to be a human being. Being a Christian makes your matter worse. He hates you completely. The book of Psalms says he will attack you “without cause”. That means it’s not your actions that causes him to fight you; it’s your identity. It’s not what you do that makes him fight you; it’s who you are. So stop accommodating darkness by hiding your light under a basket. By being Light, you have already declared war against darkness. The devil will fight you in many ways whether you fight back or not. You better renew your mind and take dominion. Subdue!

God Knows, So What?

In any outcome of our lives, the easiest thing – and also the stupidest thing – to do is to blame God. “God knew that it would happen but He made it happen”. You made a wrong decision but it’s God’s fault that He didn’t step in to stop you. “Oh God knew I would fornicate…”. “God knows how much I’m suffering so He will come through for me.” My friend, at the end of the day, you can’t use that as an excuse o. Jesus came to pay a very heavy price and yet, people still go to hell. Doesn’t God know that they will go to hell? God knowing means He made provision beforehand. Jesus said “God already knows what we need before we ask Him”. Yet, the fact that He knows does not stop the fact that we should ask Him.

Throughout the Old Testament, we see that God came through for His people whenever they cried out to Him. They can suffer for many years but immediately they cry out to God, God begins the rescue mission. Do you think it makes God insensitive because He doesn’t step in until they cry out to Him? No! Why do you choose to suffer when you can simply cry out to the Lord for Him to come through for you? What is easier to do; cry out to God or suffer while trying to navigate the situation on your own? You get the point. You have access to God. You can cry out to Him in times of trouble and He will answer you.

What God does sovereignly is none of my business because I have no part to play in that. However, I am responsible for the part I have to play. Is it intercession? Is it prayer? Is it submission? Is it diligence? I will do it to the best of the ability He has given me. He will give me more than I ask and will even give me what I don’t ask by His Sovereign act. That notwithstanding, I shouldn’t expect to receive what I don’t ask when I have been given the privilege of asking. Your decisions directly affect your destiny. We are not robots.

Arise and shine. Pray and do not faint. Be diligent. Ask, seek, knock. Contend for your destiny. Pursue, overtake, recover all. The violent takes it by force. The work won’t do itself. You’ve got work to do!

Philosophy, Psychology, Pseudoscience & Perspectives

Eons ago, the Greeks gathered under trees, and absolutely drunk, they discussed wild ideas. Such an informal gathering in open space is what birthed some of the prevalent ideas in modern society today. It was an open-mindedness so open trash was considered genius because it was new. Soon, philosophy became a thing as these informal schools came up with schools of thought that debunked the status quo. People want something unconventional instead of something fresh. They want stable truths debunked because, to them, they are stale. Don’t we see much of that today? Let’s delve into the 4 areas that will be responsible for the confusion of many. Do you remember how confusing last week’s post was? So hard to read, right? Today, I’m going to lay it bare before you so you can realise the Truth.

Philosophy

Philosophy is a rabbit hole into nothingness. In the beginning, it seems like a wise discourse or a platform for the exchange of ideas and knowledge. What it basically is is the Gospel according to opinions. It’s what I call the spirit of the Greeks. People can clearly see Mammon, the spirit of Babylon. Some recognize the spirit of Medo-Persia, especially in areas where the Haman spirit chases down Christians with threats and murder. However, comfortable Christians have been rampaged by the spirit of the Greeks. Where this spirit dominates, the Gospel never faces fierce opposition. You can easily be allowed to share the Gospel like Paul was when he reached Athens. However, the Gospel is treated as simply one school of thought.

Acts 17:21 says “all the Athenians and the foreigners who were there spent their time in nothing else but either to tell or to hear some new thing.” The science of opinions. No wonder people are easily offended nowadays. Unity is not when our opinions align and agree. People don’t want to know the truth anymore. Just want to hear what makes them feel good and strokes their ego. Cunningly-devised fables, if you will. As 1 Timothy 6:20 puts it, this is what people falsely call “knowledge”.

The desire for something new instead of something fresh is what Scriptures call itchy ears in 2 Timothy 4:3. “God loves me? I already know that. That’s not new. Tell me something I haven’t heard before”. When they hear something new, weird and don’t understand yet, they then say, “wow, this is deep”. This is what pushes people to now invent new things from old truths in order to entertain their listeners. Don’t fall for the “go deeper” shenanigans. There’s always a fresh Word from God but never a totally new word from that which has already been established.

This is what gave birth to “relative truth” rundown. One will say we all have our truths and that you have your truth and I have my truth. Some even say there’s no such thing as truth. Well, if that’s the case, then why should I believe you? It’s all mindless confusion. You follow it at your own peril. You will become a very wise fool. The gospel according to our opinions is responsible for why people want to hear what celebrities have to say. We have become so open-minded that historical facts seem not to exist anymore because it has become a matter of opinions. This is also the basics for the “I feel; therefore I am” movements. You feel like a girl even though you are a boy so you dress like a girl. Feelings over facts. It is the wisdom of men as Paul said 1 Corinthians 1 and 2. Speaking of wisdom, let’s talk about psychology.

Psychology

When we discussed the wisdom of the devil, we mentioned that there are 3 kinds of Wisdom; the Wisdom from above, the wisdom of this world and human wisdom. Even the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men. It is the foolishness of God to pick what men reject to confound the wise, not that God is actually foolish. Human wisdom does not guarantee anything. If you really are a Christian, let your way of thinking be solely based on Scripture. Psychology will only support what Scripture has already established. I say this because a lot of psychology and philosophy is preached from pulpits and what most Christians believe, they cannot even point to one Bible verse to support it.

Do you believe in psychology quotes or do you quote Scriptures? This “follow your heart”, “do what you love”, “believe in yourself” etc is all psychology and philosophy. With time, someone will come and debunk it and propose a new theory that makes sense in another way. Today, psychology wants us to believe that hard work is not important and that we should work smart instead. In the next 10 years, working smart will be seen as archaic and wrong. Meanwhile, Scriptures offer principles that are established and proven, regardless of person, time or even place. It is dangerous to live your life based on what psychology is saying. It is like building in the sand. If you are indeed a Christian, the Scriptures should form the bedrock of all your beliefs and worldview.

When someone speaks psychology and philosophy, they make sense because they speak to the mind. However, making sense and knowing the truth is not always the same. The truth does not always make sense, my dear. Whoever speaks truth speaks to the spirit. Jesus said His Words are spirit and life. In hard times, you can hold on to the Word of Truth in your spirit. All your knowledgeable psychology ideas will fall like a pack of cards because none of them will even come to mind in tough times. Motivational speakers speak to your mind. Bible teachers speak to your spirit. The latter makes a lasting impact. You can use mindfulness to achieve things in this life but you cannot use it to conquer sin, the world and Satan. It’s only the Word!

Pseudoscience

The foundation of science was laid by people who believed in God and looked forward to His inspirations. Many of them had visions and saw answers via dreams. Today, the average scientist wants you to believe otherwise. For crying out loud, Sir Isaac Newton had more notes from Bible Study than on science and mathematics combined. Much of what we call science is basically pseudoscience. Certain theories have been held in higher esteem than even the laws in science. Atheism wants it to look like it’s backed by the world of science. Meanwhile, everything in science screams of a Designer. Big bang theory is simply a theory. It was even first proposed by a Catholic priest, a theist. It has not been proven, and yet, it is always discussed as if it is.

Also, why has the big bang theory become an atheist worldview of the beginning of life when it was proposed by a theist and hasn’t been proven? Are you telling me you knew what happened 300 million years ago but don’t believe in the resurrection of Jesus, something that happened just 2000 years ago and was confirmed by 500+ witnesses? Seriously? You really think we actually share a common ancestor as apes? Pseudoscience has reduced human beings to simply animals. It has stripped us of the “fearfully and wonderfully made” identity and scoffed us into believing we are insignificant compared to the rest of the universe. What will you choose? Christianity that gives you genuine purpose and hope, or a Pseudoscience that proposes that you’re just a random happening? It takes more blind faith to be an atheist. There’s too much make-believe.

Also, Charles Darwin clearly stated that he could be wrong concerning his theory of evolution. He said if a complex organ could not be explained by gradual modifications, his theory “would absolutely break down”. Guess what? A complex organ cannot be objectively explained by gradual modifications. Scientists say the belief in God will influence their scientific experiments but atheism is equally a worldview that influences as much. We can create as humans but we weren’t created? We came from nothing and are evolving into nothingness? Oh wow! We don’t even know how life came from non-life but let’s pretend all of science is based evolution theory and the big bang theory.

Is evolution real? Yes. However, the leap from “animals change slightly over time” to “all life is the result of mindless natural processes” is completely absurd and untrue. It’s an extrapolation of the adaptation of species. All this is targeted at eroding humanity from his true origin. Today, “intelligent” people believe in these things, making us look foolish for believing we are made in the image of God. Take heart! It is only a recent dilemma. About 99% of people who have ever lived believed in the existence of God. Don’t let them deceive you that we were indoctrinated to believe in God. There are isolated tribes in the world with no contact with our current civilization and yet, they believe in a Supreme Being. It is Charles Spurgeon who said “atheism is a strange thing. Even the devils never fell into that vice”.

Perspectives

In the realms of humans, nothing was made to be permanent. Everything has advantages and disadvantages. God can bring good out of something evil and something good can lead to something evil. That being said, don’t justify your wrong when God brings something good out of it. Also, perspectives have become the venue to erode absolutes and objectivity. When you do good, there are both advantages and disadvantages to it. The advantages or disadvantages are not what predetermines what is good or bad. Otherwise, what is good or bad becomes a matter of perspective rather than an objective morality upheld by God.

Let me give you an example. It is good to give, not because of the advantages of giving (because there are also disadvantages), but because it is commanded by God. Goodness is based on God. Take God out of the picture and now, we are just left to determine what is good and bad from its advantages and disadvantages. Meanwhile, there are advantages and disadvantages of every action in this realm, whether good or bad. The fact that something gives you an advantage does not mean it is the right thing to do. Have you seen why modern societies are now finding it hard to determine what is good and what is not? Subjective morality is no morality at all. It will only be a matter of opinions until we accept pedophilia as an acceptable form of sexuality.

Let’s Put Religion Aside?

Have you ever heard someone say, “let’s put religion aside. We are humans first”. Really? We don’t know what religion is again, do we? It is because Christ taught and exemplified love for one another that I am compelled by His Grace to do the same. If we put that aside, what will be left? “Humanity first!”. True humanity is what Christ exemplified in the flesh. “Let’s put the Bible aside”. No, we aren’t. If we put all of this aside, wherein lies the core of my morality? We will go back to the Gospel according to opinions. Objective morality only exists because God. If we put God aside, everything in society will crumble.

What they won’t tell you is that western civilization was built on Christian values. That’s why we aren’t seeing a sudden collapse just yet. Objective morality is so strong, people wish the well-being of others and generally, help is available; people are nice to each other, systems work and the needs of the underprivileged are addressed. All these are as a result of Christian values entrenched into the system. The dilemma is that African culture is built on idolatry so we are yet to fully let go of idolatrous influence and fully embrace Christian values. Thus, you will see atheist Westerners showing you more love than Christians in Africa. Don’t be confused from now onwards.

If western civilization refuses to uphold and recognise the place of Christ in society, their civilization will collapse like many other civilizations in human history. This is not rocket science.

The Scoffing spirit

Scriptures, especially in Proverbs, point to the spirit of scorners and scoffers. You may not have noticed but once you understand it from here, search the Scriptures to see. It is one of the highest expressions of pride. In Psalm 1, we see a progression from ungodly to sinners to scornful. These are people who mock God and the things of God. They make you feel foolish for believing in something so simple. Not only that, they seem to have a way of making something great look small and insignificant. Pseudoscience have tried their best to paint humans as insignificant. Feminism have tried their best to paint men as insignificant. Modern societies have tried their best to paint being a housewife as someone insignificant. It is their nature to belittle things that actually form the core.

Do you have a friend who always finds a way to devalue your achievements? They have this diction and mindset of seeing it from a different perspective in a bad light. The same is done to Judeo-Christianity perpetually throughout centuries. There’s a way the Gospel can be painted to look as though it is dumb. That’s why the Scriptures say “the message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing”. If you give attention to such ideologies for long, you will follow the progression of the wicked in Psalm 1. You will walk, stand and eventually sit in the seat of the scornful. You will cast pearls before swine. You will treat what is Holy as a common thing, as Hebrews 10:29 puts it. Our minds are fragile; we believe something in accordance with how many times we hear it. Believe you me, if you give your attention to the scoffing spirit, you will become an evangelist for this religion of vanity. They will make a mockery of the simplicity of the Gospel but won’t tell you how empty their worldview is. Beware!

Philosophy, psychology, perspectives and pseudoscience. If you give your attention to any of these four, you become knowledgeable but you will lack wisdom. Selah!

Paradigm Shift: How Life Has Been Redefined in the Modern Era

Since the beginning of human history, religion had been the most defining element of society. It literally sat at the pinnacle of all civilizations and defined a people, their culture, architecture and way of thinking. However, about 300 years ago, there was a huge paradigm shift. The Age of Enlightenment. Science and religion were at loggerheads, and God was replaced with “self” as the focal point of society.

The Age of Enlightenment is the very definition of modernism. A movement that – right at its conception – matrixed traditional beliefs with modern ideas. This new way of life influenced literature, visual art, architecture, dance, and music. This is simply called the New Age in our time today.

Values

Modernism encouraged the re-examination of every aspect of existence, from commerce to philosophy, with the goal of finding what was holding back progress and replacing it with new ways of reaching the same end. Thus, even in art, Modernism fostered a period of experimentation after questioning the status quo. Modernists did not believe in uniform values; they cared little for social norms and instead were occupied with a lack of identity, lack of faith, and cynicism.

Roger Griffin observes that modernity produced a longing for a “sense of sublime order and purpose” in a world where the sacred canopy had been torn apart by secularization and fragmentation. In this vacuum, movements and ideologies that seemed unrelated began to flourish with near-religious devotion: Expressionism, Futurism, vitalism, Theosophy, psychoanalysis, nudism, eugenics, utopian town planning, architecture, modern dance, Bolshevism, organic nationalism—and, in the end, even the cult of self. What once appeared fringe soon became the cultural norm.

This also gave rise to new concepts such as Individualism, Symbolism and Absurdity. It was more about what an individual thought about a certain idea – for instance, polygamy – not necessarily about what society thought. The individual determined his morality rather than the collective whole. Every petty yardstick in society was challenged and seen as a social construct. We still see it till today as people doubt that Jesus even existed although He is one of the most documented people in history. Perhaps, even what was thought to be cast-in-stone common knowledge were now challenged as being fluid; God, gender, rights, morality, to mention but a few.

Beliefs

It started as Christian Science, a religion that sought to fill the portholes when science and religion combined path. However, the patch didn’t last. Religious fundamentalists believe in the superiority of their religious teachings, and in a strict division between righteous people and evildoers. This belief system regulates their thoughts, but also all conceptions regarding themselves, others, and the world.

The core of every religion is its belief systems. Existing religions now needed a modern touch or a simple abandonment. “Traditional” religion became formalism; excessive adherence to prescribed forms from authorities. The modern man thought that was questionable. This gave rise to liberalism. Liberalism took the more “flexible” approach; a world of logic, physical matter and no eternal consequences for one’s willful actions. Pseudoscience has reduced man to a piece of insignificance – just a composition of gases and atoms – leaving him with no defined purpose.

The “modern” man reduced religion to mere forms — ceremonies, rituals, and outward observances stripped of inner meaning. Ethics, too, became formal, grounded in the shell of moral law without wrestling with motive or consequence. Modernism, born out of applying critical methods to the Scriptures and the history of doctrine, shifted the focus. It diminished the weight of historic creeds and dogmas, and instead exalted the humanistic side of religion — stressing man, while sidelining the eternal.

For the first time in history, people were not looking to God for definitive answers; they grew skeptical of their religion and religious faith. Modernism basically showed a society that was rebelling against tradition, while realism simply showed how society dealt with the normalities of life. Realism talked about the traditions of characters, how they lived, and what they dealt with.

Expression

Modernity defined itself by its own standards — technological advancement, systems of governance, and socio-economic shifts. To embrace modernity was to see one’s generation as breaking into new realms of knowledge and organization, making the immediate past appear obsolete or outpaced. Voices like David Hume, hailed as one of history’s great philosophers, embodied this spirit by urging philosophical agnosticism toward almost everything, yet granting man a fragile sense of certainty and a huge lack of identity.

In modernist literature, man is assured that his own sense of morality trumps. Modernist fiction spoke of the inner self and consciousness. Instead of progress, the modernist writer saw a decline in civilization. Modernism was a break with the past and the concurrent search for new forms of expression. This is because society is heading to a place with no structure, no universal basics, no fundamentals, no yardstick and no acknowledgement of a Godhead.

Where is society heading? … to be continued

Consistency as a Divine Virtue & the Scary Inconsistency of Humans

It’s yet another night. I’ve been sent to buy something, and I decided to take a stroll with Bezalel, my guardian angel. He almost always follows me everywhere I go, for he was sent to me the very day I was born to help me accomplish God’s plan for my life. That night I asked him, “what message does Heaven have for me today?”. Bezalel decided to share an observation angelic beings have made concerning humans. “We are surprised by your inconsistency. In Heaven, everything is consistent. Nothing ever falls out of place.” I can’t say same for earth.

It’s true. When you observe animals, you’d be surprised at how consistent they are. They basically do the same thing around the same time everyday. No holidays; no sign of laziness; no sign of boredom; no complaint. So when something is wrong, you’d quickly notice. Imagine a bird feeling too lazy to fly today. Imagine a cock not being in the mood to crow. Have you seen an ant give up? The thought of it sounds absurd. How about a peacock not proud of its feathers? Or a human not in the mood to work?

Bezalel was right. Humans are ridiculously inconsistent. It’s not a matter of just getting tired of things, it’s a matter of not being able to carry out something till it’s accomplished.

This is a long read but can you simply and consistently read till the end though you don’t feel like it?

Animals and trees give consistent praise to God. Trees wave in awe of Him. Birds chirp and tweet of His goodness. Dogs bark at the smell of His sweet aroma. And then there’s humans. He promised God something last two months but he doesn’t care about it anymore. She is feeling reluctant to even read the Bible nowadays. He doesn’t see the need to attend church services anymore. She is in a good season so her prayers and praise have drastically reduced.

So how do we stay consistent in the things that matter?

First of all, do realise that God is consistent. His character is flawless. Until you believe the consistency of God, you would find it very difficult being a Christian and walking with Him. He is consistently in love with you, consistently watching over you. He is consistently caring for your needs.

This is the meaning of unconditional love. Love is consistent. Anything that stops or shifts in the wake of conditions is not consistent. I have given you one key of Consistency. Anything that is unconditional has infinite potential to be consistent. God’s love is not based on conditions. That’s why His love is consistent. Every excuse arises from a condition that stops the flow of Consistency. Think about it.

Consistency or Consistent Inconsistency

Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16‭-‬18 NLT

Though the word “consistency” does not appear even once in the Bible, the above verse captures it wholeheartedly. “Always”. “Never stop”. “All”.

Start small and be consistent till the end. It’s better to start small and be consistent than to start “boom” and stop before it even begins to count. Consistency is not about what you have to do. You already know all those things but don’t do them. “I have to start exercising.” “We have to communicate more.” “You have to open up.” “I have to go on a diet. My stomach is getting bigger.”

Consistency is about breaking instructions, tasks and have-to-dos into smaller, simpler tasks that can be done for a long time to come. Start small. The little things will add up. It is better to eat two bowls of rice everyday for a year than to eat 365 bowls in two days. Both sum up the same number of bowls but one is healthier, more realistic and natural. The thing about consistency is that there will always be something we are consistent with or consistently doing. That’s right! Your habits. Therefore, it’s either one is consistent or consistently inconsistent. There’s always a routine to everything we do, and it will shock how long you’ve done a particular activity in your life.

I’ve given you another key. Consistency is inevitable. You’ll always be consistent at something. These are your habits. Your second nature. Things you do with minimum logic and effort. So the question is not whether you’re consistent or not. The question is, “what are you consistent in doing?” Have you noticed that we are mostly identified by what we are always consistent with? “The girl who is always laughing”. “The guy who comes to sit here on Tuesdays”. “The guy who knows how to write.” What do you choose to identify yourself with? Be consistent in that!

Thessalonians 5:16‭-‬18 shows us things we should always be consistent at; praise, prayers and perseverance. It’s not a suggestion. It’s a command. You cannot be a victorious Christian without being consistent in these. They are not one-time events. There are lifetime commitments.

The Secret of Individual & Cooperate Consistency

“…for you know that when your faith succeeds in facing such trials, the result is the ability to endure. Make sure that your endurance carries you all the way without failing, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”

James 1:3‭-‬4 GNT

If you faint in the time of adversity, your strength is small, Proverbs 24:10 says. Trials don’t come to destroy you. They come to reveal you. That’s why I’m talking about what you consist of. It is what is within you that will enable you to stand firm.

To be consistent, don’t rely on motivation and emotions. Rely on purpose and necessity. In other words, don’t do stuff because you feel like it. Day one, you will feel like it. One day, you won’t feel like it. Whenever you push yourself to do something though you don’t feel like it, you develop endurance. Read the Bible verse from James 1:3-4 again. When your endurance carries you all the way without failing??…that’s consistency!

Consistency is from the Latin word “consistentia”, which means “standing together”. The singular form of the word, “consistentem”, means to stand firm. This illustration of a tree being “consistentem” in the midst of the storm, or the entire forest “consistentia”, really captures the root meaning. It’s all about what it consists of. Before we can stand together, we must individually be able to stand firm. So the first question is, “what are you made of as an individual?”.

Aside from the individuality, God is also interested in the cooperate group. Inasmuch as God is going to judge us individually, God will also judge us based on the groups He placed us in. If you can stand firm individually, it is your duty to support others in need in any way you can because our destinies are interconnected.

In Revelations 2 and 3, Jesus commended and rebuked churches as a whole, not individuals. The cooperate group is also important. Your Consistency must drag someone else along. It shouldn’t be just you. In fact, it is much more easier if the group is checking up on each other to keep on being consistent. We both know how important this is. May God help us. It’s about time God taught us how to be consistent 🙏

I love you ❤️

Awake, Arise, Ascend, O Deborah: A Clarion Call

Last week, we talked about the warfare strategy God revealed through the life of Deborah. We talked about the fact that there are two main mistakes we can make when it comes to doing exploits; zeal without knowledge or knowledge without zeal. You can be over-zealous and run ahead of God to “help” what He said to come to pass. You can also be told exactly what to do by God but fear stepping out. Last week focused on the knowledge aspect. This is about the zeal aspect.

To be honest on my part, I thought that was all to the Deborah strategy. Now, I realise many precepts, protocols and processes were not captured. If we are going to do exploits, we ought to be explosive. Just like we did with David’s and Gideon’s, pick up your hardcopy Bible, open to Judges 5 and follow me on this one.

Awake

God announces our victory first before we fight to establish it. That means if we run ahead of God to fight in a battle He has not announced victory, we will suffer casualties. The Joshua strategy will reveal a lot concerning this principle. To awake is to rise from sleep, slumber and shackles. The awakening begins when we cry out to God. See, the enemy is not strong. We are simply asleep. Once we are awake, the enemy will have no chance. It is while men slept that the enemy came to sow tares among the wheat. Watchmen, awake. Awake, awake, Deborah. Awake, Barak. This is a wake up call.

In fact, it is the power of death that keeps people asleep. When a man is blind and asleep, even if he’s a strong man, you can enter his house and bind him. Remember Samson. To be awake is to be quickened. It is to stop fooling. Like the prodigal son, it is to come back to your senses. If you sleep all your life, life will pass you by. Your situation will never change, regardless of what God has spoken over your life, until you awake. If you are living in sin, you’re asleep. Wake up! If you’re living a desecrated life, the enemy still has power over you. Awake!

Arise

God must arise first before we can arise. In Judges 5:4-5 God arose. In verse 6-7, Deborah arose. Seven times in the book of Psalms, David prayed for God to arise. This is exactly why we discussed the knowledge aspect last week. Don’t go ahead of God. Sometimes, the iniquities of the Amorites are not yet complete. God does miracles, not magic. The path to recovery is a process even if some aspects of recovery are instantaneous. Judgement will be rendered at a set time and preparation needs to take place. But why? Because God uproots to plant. Unless the planting follows the uprooting, the uprooting creates a bigger hole for the enemy to fill. It’s like casting a demon out of a person and not filling them with the Spirit. If you are going to tear down demonic priesthood, you ought to be trained to sustain a divine priesthood.

Process does not exist because God is slow. It exists because of us. Arising is when God trains us to become who He wants us to be. Sometimes, God leaves certain adversaries and obstacles in our way because although it isn’t His Will, He can use it to achieve His purpose in our lives. It may take a second to awake but arising takes time. It takes seconds for light to shine in darkness when the light is switched on, no matter how long there was darkness. However, it takes time for God to enlighten our darkness. By being in darkness for that long, we have learnt the ways of the darkness and absorbed darkness into us. Light is what we use to win battles against darkness. We cannot conquer darkness with darkness.

What happens if we don’t arise? Judges 4:8 tells us that new gods will arise because we didn’t take our rightful place (Deuteronomy 32:17). Nowhere is left unfilled. There is no neutral ground. There’s always a rising. If we don’t arise, it means the enemy will arise. Until we arise, Christ will not shine His light on us. We rise to shine. It means the time has come. It means we ought to gird our loins. Like the angel told Peter when he was freeing from prison, gird your loins after you arise. To arise is to be revived and restored like in the days of Hosea. To arise is a call to battle. To arise is to conquer spiritual timidity with Spirit of Love, Power and Sound Mind. The enemy will fight back. However, those who go through this process will be equipped enough not to give up or give in.

Arising is so important to me because this is where the real warfare is. If you can arise, you will ascend. Once you ascend, it is game over for the enemy. Thus, this is part he will fight the hardest; while you are still unsure about who you are and the manner of Spirit you carry. This is the part many give up and question God’s attitude because of so much warfare. The enemy seems to know something God has hidden from you for now. Only willing people keep winning (verse 2,9). You need to be spiritually violent. The violent takes it by force. Our destinies are interconnected. Verse 13 to 15 makes us understand that when we arise, we cause others to arise also. When we fight, they encourage them to fight too. When we fight, angels fight on our behalf (verse 20). The victory is not meant to be mine alone. It is ours. However, anyone who doesn’t fight will not be part of the victory (verse 16-17).

Winning the Test of Contradiction

Anytime God speaks and the opposite of what He said is the situation, it means there is a contention. The enemy barely gives up anything without a fight. Verse 19 makes us know that. As we discussed in the jurisdiction of the devil, temptation is allowed but occupation is not. Let’s not confuse the two. Sometimes, we become too amazed when battles arise. If there is no battle, how do you get the victory? If you are not tempted, what is the proof of your obedience? If you are not tested, what justifies your ascension?

In the test of contradiction, it will look as though the enemy has the upper hand, the advantage. It will look like they are winning but they will suddenly fall. Of course, the enemy sealed legality in the area you are fighting him. He won’t give up until he loses. His pride makes him think he can still win. You wear him out by encouraging yourself in the LORD (verse 21). More people lose to the enemy by giving up than by fighting. In fact, more of his devices are meant for that. Giving up is the easiest thing to do. However, remember that God is on your side. Remember that what you are really doing is fighting for the establishment of the Kingdom in that area. Fight from victory because God announced your victory before the fight began.

Ascend

Ascension only belongs to those who won their battles. When the set time for your coronation comes, you will now understand why God made you spend so much time at the arising stage. To ascend is to be set upon your high places. To ascend is to take your rightful place. The high places were formally occupied by the enemy as they left you bound in sleep and blindness. Once you awake via an encounter like Gideon and via a revelation/enlightenment/understanding, God trains you to break in and break through. You will arise to tread the enemy on their high places, and then be manifestedly coronated to take dominion. You were born for this all along. Jesus conquered so we can also conquer. His finished work is so we can also finish.

Awake and sing your testimonies to enable others to arise, arise and go to the city gates where you contend for your rightful authority, take captivity captive and ascend. Record your testimonies so others can recite them to awake. Your testimony of how you arose will cause many to awake so they can arise because all eyes will see that you have ascended.

In all, God is working on us, in us and with us to establish His Kingdom where righteousness, joy and peace will reign for as long as we live.

God fights for us through us with us. We rise in strength to seal our victories so that peace reigns when the Kingdom is established.

Deborah Strategy: Warfare Strategies of the Kingdom of God

I was on my knees in prayer when I heard “it is time to deploy the Deborah Strategy”. I didn’t know what the Deborah Strategy was, although I had it written down at the beginning of the year. Now that I know, I know exactly why I had to be told that (that’s exactly what the Deborah Strategy is about). Let’s delve in so you understand what I mean.

The Deborah Strategy is about doing exploits. When it comes to doing exploits, there are two main mistakes we can make; zeal without knowledge or knowledge without zeal. You can be over-zealous and run ahead of God to “help” what He said to come to pass. You can also be told exactly what to do by God but fear stepping out. This is why what we are about to discuss is very strategic in warfare.

If you have been given a Deborah anointing or a Deborah ministry, never get ahead of God. You will suffer serious legalities. Judges 4:2 will tell you clearly that it was God who handed the people of Israel over to the enemy. In fact, the word used was “sold”; the same word used when Esau sold his birthright; the same word used when Joseph was sold by his brothers. It was a legal transaction. The enemy was rightfully ruling. In the jurisdiction of the devil, we understood that the devil doesn’t make any illegal transactions. He immediately secures legality when there’s a handing over. In fact, this was the third time the Book of Judges said God sold them because of their sins.

The first thing to do when the enemy has the upper hand is to cry out to God for mercy. God will answer that cry and will start the process of redemption and restoration. This strategy can be used when there is an evil leader over a territory. Don’t wage warfare without knowing first the legalities involved. Whether you get to know all or not, obtain God’s Mercy. The Mercy of God is the executive order that trumps all transactions, legal or illegal. If you realise that your family some time back made a covenant with a goddess, don’t attack first. It was a legal transaction. You will suffer backlash. Secure the Mercy of God.

Once the Mercy of God has been secured, tarry until God downloads the strategy to you. During that time, God will be incubating you to be the main priest of your family or territory or nation. If you think it’s just a matter of uprooting the enemy and that’s all, you’ll realise it’s not like that. God uproots to plant. Therefore, He prepares the tree in the seed He will plant before He even uproots. This is why going ahead of God must fail. You will create more ground for the enemy to leverage upon. That’s basically the Ishmael strategy of the kingdom of darkness.

You should know that Deborah was a judge for a while until the time came when God gave her the strategy to conquer the enemy. You may be Barak complaining about why a certain problem is still persisting until you realise God has specifically chosen you as the solution. See, God is intentional. The strategy is location-specific (Mount Tabor), people-specific (10,000 men of the sons of Naphtali and Zebulun) and has certain specifications to be noted. This is not a strategy if it is vague. If the instructions are still vague to you, don’t take action until you have gained clarity. God is not the author of confusion. His instructions are so clear and specific that you will know when you begin to devise your own style to obey. The instructions may not look time-bound but it mostly is. There is a set time allocated to the fulfilment of it.

Do you understand what that means? “It is time to deploy the Deborah Strategy”. God can give you clear instructions but until He says start, don’t start. Yes, He told you that you will go to secondary schools and impact the lives of young females. The timing is so important that going ahead or later can cause serious repercussions. Barak was told and it was an instruction to act upon immediately. Deborah told him uprightly, “this is the day”. The time had come. Remember that it is a partnership between you and God. With Him, all things are possible. Doing anything without His consultation while hoping that He supports it is very similar to believing in luck. He has already preplanned everything so kindly work with His timing.

I know you want to heal all the sick people in the hospital in one day and go to the cemetery and cause all of them to come back to life. Such zeal! Clap for yourself. Before you go and act like a superhero and hope God backs you up, why don’t you wait for God to send you? Even Jesus never stepped into a scene without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He went to the pool of Bethesda, healed only one man out of so many, and left. You can’t step into a village and burn their altars and tear down all their shrines when you didn’t hear God. It doesn’t work like that. Surely, you don’t have more zeal than God to do the exploits He prepared beforehand for you to do. Work with Him.

And now you understand.

The Deborah Strategy is not a random outburst of power. It is a legal, prophetic, and Spirit-led deployment of God’s will in territories where the enemy has gained ground. The urgency of exploits must always be rooted in the order of heaven. In no particular order, let me summarize it for your clarity:
– Secure Mercy first
– Wait for the God-given strategy for the mission
– Work in partnership with God
– Know and act at the revealed set time
– Act in obedience, not mere zeal
– Understand your priestly role.

You know your God. You have waxed strong. It is time for exploits. Heaven has received the cries of the saints, Heaven has seized the legal ground of the enemy. Heaven has chosen the vessel, and Heaven has released the strategy. Now, wait for the “This is the day” signal. Then move. Boldly. In sync with God.

Judgement Day: Giving An Account before God

“Each one’s work will become manifest, for the Judgement Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.”
— 1 Corinthians 3:13

Heaven keeps records, earth keeps memories but fire keeps truth. The words of the Lord are pure words, Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. If it is true and pure, your works will stand the test of fire like the words of the Lord does. On that Great Day, what will matter is not just what you did, but why and how you did it. God is not just the Judge of actions — He is the Judge of motives.  That Day will not be about numbers, applause, or stage lights. It will be about weight, substance, and eternal value.

God will not ask what church you attended. He will ask what you did with what He gave you.

You will give an account for:

The grace you received (2 Corinthians 6:1)

The gifts you carried (Romans 12:6)

The time He gave you (Ephesians 5:16)

The words you spoke (Matthew 12:36)

The truth you knew (James 4:17)

No one will stand for you. Not your mother or father. Not your leader or boss. Everyone will speak for themselves. It is a matter of accountability. Even Jesus gave an account to the Father: He said in John 17 said, “I have finished the work which You have given Me to do…while I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.”

Even the Holy Spirit will give an account — just as Eliezer prophetically returned to Abraham to report on his search for a bride for Isaac (Genesis 24). In like manner, the Holy Spirit will give an account to God the Father on how He prepared a Bride for the Son. Jude 1:24 says He is “able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy”. If God is giving an account to Himself, what much more you and I?

He has said in his heart, “God has forgotten; He hides His face; He will never see.”
[13] Why do the wicked renounce God? He has said in his heart, “You will not require an account.”

Psalms 10:11, 13 NKJV

Don’t let anyone deceive you. You will surely give an account before God. If you know that God does not just accept anything, you will make every good effort to present your utmost for His Highest. It is time to re-align, to shift your focus and to re-examine what you have made the goal of your life. Nonetheless, make no mistake: Heaven will not be a competition of who got the most crowns. If that is your motive, you will miss the mark. Heaven is not about us. It is all about God. It has always been and will always be. Every good work will be ultimately accredited to Him because He deserves all the glory.

On Judgement Day, your works will not be counted — they will be weighed. Every sermon, every song, every seed sown, every quiet obedience, every unseen sacrifice — will pass through fire. Not hellfire. But holy fire — the kind that tests purity and substance. If it was wood, hay, or straw — it will vanish. If it was gold, silver, or precious stones — it will remain. Did you preach because you were sent, or because you wanted a platform? Did you serve out of love or out of compulsion? Were you giving to be seen or as worship? Did you obey because it pleased God or because it pleased your brand? Even the devil can make himself look good sometimes. The fire will reveal what you hid behind charisma.

You can build an orphanage and still be disqualified. You can run a megachurch and still hear, “Depart from Me…” (Matthew 7:22–23). Because God doesn’t just reward works. He rewards obedience. What He never sent, He won’t reward. Whatever you didn’t do in love counts for nothing (1 Corinthians 13:1–3). What you did for men’s praise already has its reward (Matthew 6:1–5). The fire will not judge your looks. It will judge your roots, not judge your façade. It will judge your fruit. Motives will be measured. Intentions will be weighed. Cain gave a sacrifice that was later in the law of Moses. It wasn’t the sacrifice. It was the desire to please God that enabled Abel to give a more pleasing sacrifice. It’s not just the sacrifice. It is obedience.

IT’S NOT ABOUT ESCAPING HELL. IT’S ABOUT PLEASING HIM. For the believer, this Judgment is not about salvation. The Cross settled that. This is about reward. This is about pleasing the One who gave His all. Some will be saved as through fire — everything burned, only a soul remaining. 1 Corinthians 3:15 says so. But others will stand with crowns — not for their glory, but to cast at His feet.

Live with that day in mind. You don’t prepare for Judgement Day by being busy. You prepare by being faithful. Check the heart that is behind the hands. If the heart posture is not right, the works of the hands won’t count. You don’t impress God by being loud. You please Him by aligning yourself to His purposed. So walk in the Spirit. Obey your assignment. Don’t compare callings or envy platforms. Don’t chase the applause of men. Chase after God’s own heart. Let eternity be your view. Let pleasing Him be your life goal.

Judgement Day: The Mystery of Witnesses

On that Day, when every soul shall stand before the Great White Throne, there will be no room for excuses, no argument left to make, no final plea to overturn truth. The Judge of all the earth will do right (Genesis 18:25), and He will do so not by assumption, but by righteousness and justice. No man will have an excuse.

Since at the mouth of two or three witnesses a fact is established, God has ensured that He is not the only witness although all 3 of His persons are a Witness. You see, God’s judgement is not impulsive. It is rooted in unshakable justice and divine procedure. He has designed a system so complete, so layered, that none can wiggle out of it. Every action, every thought, every opportunity granted or squandered—there are witnesses to it. Not just one, but many.

God Has Not Left Himself Without Witness

God never leaves Himself without a witness (Acts 14:17). He raised prophets (Acts 10:43), apostles (Acts 1:8), and martyrs (Rev. 6:9–11). He sent angels as witnesses (1 Tim. 5:21), used feasts (Ex. 12:14), pillars of cloud (Ex. 13:21), and even the Ark of the Covenant (Num. 17:10) as visual, living reminders of His truth. But in the end, the clearest witness God gave was Himself. Jesus, the faithful and true Witness (Rev. 1:5), stood before Pilate and said, “To this end was I born… to bear witness unto the truth” (John 18:37). And when He left, He sent another—“Allos Parakletos”—the Holy Spirit, who also bears witness (Rom. 8:16). The goal of the mystery of witnesses is not to scare you—it is to humble us before grace, while time still speaks.

Jesus said in John 5:31–39 that there were multiple witnesses to His identity: John the Baptist, His own works, the Father, the Scriptures. Even the religious people who refused Him had witnesses shouting all around them. Yet they would not come to Him to have life. And now, you and I—we who believe—have been enlisted as witnesses (Acts 1:8). Romans 1:20 says that “the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made. Romans 1:20 says that “since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” Creation itself is a witness. The stars you admired, the sun that warmed your skin, the breeze that whispered peace—all testified to a Creator. Psalm 19 says, “Day unto day uttereth speech… there is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.”

Even if a man lived and died without hearing the name of Jesus, creation already stood as witness. But God didn’t stop there. Romans 2:15 (who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) shows that conscience is also a witness—a moral compass embedded into every human soul. And when conscience speaks, it does so with the authority of the One who gave it. In Acts 17, Paul stood before pagan philosophers in Athens, and pointed to their altar “To the Unknown God.” They had a witness. Even their own poets had spoken about what they didn’t yet understand. So, Paul, a man of flesh and blood, came as another witness—not to replace the others, but to make them undeniable.

The Undeniability of Witnesses

You don’t know God’s Will? You’re lying. It is written in God’s Word, and the Bible is a witness that God’s Will has been made known in simple plain language. The Law of Moses will stand (Deut. 31:26). The Book of the Law will testify (Josh. 24:26). Remember the parable of the Rich Man & Lazarus? The rich man told Abraham to send Lazarus so he testifies to his brothers. Abraham said they have Moses and the prophets. Moses refers to the Law, the first 5 books. The Prophets refer to Joshua all the way to Malachi. That’s the Bible of that time that Abraham is referring to.

The Sabbath will rise up, saying, “I was a sign between God and man” (Ex. 31:13). Memorial stones, covenants, sacrifices, altars—all the tangible elements of obedience and remembrance will speak. Do you know the earth is a witness? That tree near your bed has been watching what you do in “secret”. The animal God predestined to come and live with your family. Your silence in the face of Truth will scream louder than the lies you once believed. Every time you heard a sermon and ignored it, every Gospel tract you tossed aside, every conviction you numbed—those were witnesses too. Jesus said, “By your words, you will be justified, and by your words, you will be condemned” (Matt. 12:37). The very words you spoke will bear testimony. Your life’s story will not need narration. It will unfold in divine court with perfect recall.

The Gravity of Witness

We won’t all be judged the same but we will all be judged by the same standard. Some have more witnesses than others but none is without witness. Jesus said “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you.” That means those who had fewer witnesses but did not believe have the right to testify against those who had more witnesses.

Some witnesses are also greater than others. It’s not simply about the number of witnesses but the gravity of them. The Word of God is a greater witness than my personal experiences. The generation that saw Jesus in the flesh had a greater witness than those of us who have never seen but believed. Jesus told them, “a greater than Solomon is here” but they still rejected Him.

If There Are Many Witnesses, Why Do We Still Need to Preach the Gospel?

Yes, creation speaks. Yes, conscience convicts. But God, in His mercy, still sends messengers (Romans 10:14–17). Because the clearest, most relatable witness is one clothed in flesh like you. The Gospel must be preached not because the other witnesses are insufficient, but because love insists we make it plain. If someone drowns while ignoring a clear warning sign, the law holds no one else responsible for their demise. But if someone drowns while a rescuer was standing nearby and did nothing, justice must ask why. Preach, because you are a witness. Refuse to, and you might find yourself standing before God without an excuse.

Ezekiel 3:18 and 19 says, “When I say to the wicked, ‘You will certainly die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to tell him to turn from his wicked way to save his life, that same evil man will die in his sin, but you will be responsible for his blood. [19] However, if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he will die in his sin; but you have freed yourself [from responsibility]. See, an angel appeared to Cornelius and had him send for flesh and blood Peter to bear simple plain witness of God’s truth. Think about that!

Paul said that God already proved that resurrection is a reality with trees from the beginning of time. I Corinthians 15:36 says “what you sow is not made alive unless it dies.” But how will you know, although you’ve seen it several times, unless you’re clearly told? We still need to preach the Gospel still as Romans 10:9-17 says because we have been made witnesses unto Christ (Acts 1:8). Our witness as flesh and blood to flesh and blood is the clearest and most straightforward because we see in Acts 17 when Paul visited Athens and realised they had a witness of God within them and even in their secular poems and had built an altar to that “Unknown God”. Their conscience bore witness to God but they did not know Him until Paul came to preach the Gospel to add flesh and blood to the already real witness.

No One Has No Excuse Whatsoever

On Judgement Day, There Will Be No Excuse. All these witnesses exist not to condemn you but to make judgement fair. And make no mistake—judgement will be fair, not equal. God won’t compare the one who received five talents with the one who received two (Matthew 25:15). But to whom much is given, much will be required (Luke 12:48). Whether you heard the Gospel or didn’t, you had a witness. Whether you obeyed or didn’t, someone saw, and the One who judges has all the evidence. Today, you still have a chance to respond to the witnesses. Tomorrow, the witnesses will respond to you.

The signs and wonders Jesus decreed to follow us was not for fun. It was for a witness that He indeed has power over death. It is the signs that convinced Nicodemus that Jesus was from God. Jesus said vividly that if people won’t believe the greater witness, they should, at least, believe the works He did. On that Day, every mouth will be silenced (Romans 3:19), not out of intimidation, but because every claim will be answered, every denial is disproved. What will silence men will not be fire and thunder—but truth… layered, consistent, undeniable truth. The Witnesses will speak, and God will be just in all His judgments.

Everything on Record has a Witness

The sin David committed with Bathsheba and tried to hide has been made known so clearly to so many generations in the Scriptures. You can’t hide your secret sins from the One who sees all and knows all. Repent! A movie scene may only have one person in it but there’s an entire crew behind the scenes. It’s the same with us. You may be sinning in secret but there are entire witnesses in the realms of the Spirit watching you vividly.

This is why we must live with a consciousness of witnesses even now. The Bible says we are “surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1). Heaven watches. Earth bears record. Angels observe. Your conscience records. Even Satan knows the legality of everything fail to do. Nothing is hidden from the great court above. This is also why we must treasure the Witness within us. The Holy Spirit is not just a comforter but a Witness who affirms; one who convicts, reminds, warns, and testifies. Every moment you obey, He bears witness. Every time you resist temptation, you are rewarded. But every time you harden your heart, you build a case against yourself.

You still have time to come to Him now—not tomorrow, now. Because once time ends, the case will be closed… and all that will be left are the witnesses to testify against you. Make peace now before the courtroom convenes. Come to the Light before the lamps go out. Respond to this witness I have given before you are judged by them. Give yourself wholly to God. You were told. Selah.

Judgement Day: the Glorious Standard of Righteousness

As promised on the Resonance – Living from Within Podcast, the month of July is dedicated to the Judgement Day. Today, we will talk about the standard by which God will judge all humanity. The Bible gives us both the questions for the exams and the answers. In case you don’t know what righteousness is, it is simply having a right standing before God; being able to stand in the manifest presence of God blameless and spotless. It sounds simple but it’s like being able to stand in fire without having a combustible material on you. It’s that serious. Righteousness is God’s way of being and doing right. It’s first of all one’s nature, then it flows into one’s words, works and ways. This was discussed in extensive detail in Righteousness, Peace, Joy: the Kingdom of God.

The foundation of God’s Throne is Righteousness and Justice and He sits on the Mercy Seat. God’s judgement must be right and just without compromising His merciful nature. In fact, we underestimate how God’s judgement has to be both righteous and just, and how it can even co-exist with mercy. Thus, the right and just Judge gives us the grace to obtain mercy before giving out judgement. If God has to be fair in His judgement when the opportunities and outcomes of our decisions are different, that means God has created certain systems and structures that will make sure His judgement to everyone at the end of the day is both right and just. One of such mysteries is the Mystery of Witnesses. (we will discuss this next week)

Meeting the Standard of God

The only way to ascend unto the hill of the LORD is by meeting all God’s requirements from the beginning to the end of your life. Since that’s impossible for any man – for all have sinned and have fallen short of the Glory of God – God Himself became the perfect man made in the image and likeness God originally had in mind when He created us. He met the entire justice system, satisfying the requirements to seat one at the highest seat in Glory; at the right hand of the Father. Christ did not just meet the standard; Christ is the standard by which God will judge all humanity.

Adam’s sin imputed unrighteousness on all of us. If you understood the Family System of the Kingdom of God, you will realise that man was designed in such a way that he can impute their state and inheritance on their offspring. When Jesus was on the Cross, all our sins were imputed on Him. The Divine Exchange! Now, anyone who believes in Him (it’s not by force) will have the Righteousness of God imputed on him/her. Jesus is now the 2nd Adam from whom we receive the God life and the ONLY way of meeting God’s standard.

The Righteous & Just Judgement

God never intended to judge all of us uniformly. In the parable of the talents, one received five, another two, and another one (Matthew 25:14–30). Even when the man with two gained two more, he still had less than the one who was entrusted with five. If God wanted to judge everyone strictly based on equal circumstances, He would have placed us all in the exact same families, the same countries, under the same influences, with the same gifts, and the same assignments. But He didn’t and He doesn’t need to do that. Why? Because God does not judge men by comparing them to each other. He judges all by one standard — His glorious righteousness. That standard is absolute. That standard is Christ, the Righteousness of God.

So, is it unfair? Not at all. God applies the same righteous standard to all — Christ — and judges our works based on what we did with what we were given. The question of where you will spend eternity is determined by whether you met the standard of righteousness. Those who have Jesus will be rewarded according to their good works since they will stand blameless before God. Those who don’t have Jesus will suffer consequences based on their evil works and their “good” works won’t count anymore. That’s how fair God is! You may end up in hell for a tiny error and you will be “rest assured” that you won’t suffer the same punishment as one who wholeheartedly gave themselves to error even though both of you are in hell. Understandably, those who were once saved will suffer a heavier punishment than those who were never saved.

What About My Good Works?

Here is the truth: no man on earth has ever met and will ever meet the standard except one — Jesus Christ. But here is the Good News; whoever believes in Him has that righteous record imputed to them (Romans 3:22–24). That is the grace of salvation. His righteousness becomes your qualification. Without that, your good works are disqualified at the gate because righteousness is the foundation upon which our good works must stand. Without it, your works — even the best of them — are tainted by sin and weighed as evil. You will be judged according to your evil works, and the full penalty of sin will be applied without mercy.

It isn’t fair that one’s good works don’t count if they don’t have Jesus? Well, even in this realm, you won’t be allowed on a plane if you don’t have a passport, regardless of your degree, calibre, awards or properties. Remember we said righteousness is first a nature then it flows into our works? If you don’t have the nature of righteousness, how can you have the works of righteousness? Psalm 16:2 explicitly says our goodness is nothing apart from God. Just as we cannot attain a righteous nature outside God, no works are counted as righteous outside of Him.

For those who have passed the standard — those in Christ — their works will be tested, rewarded, and remembered. Eternity will not only be a destination for them, but a divine reward system for what was built upon the foundation of Christ. In most religions, your good works must simply outweigh your bad. That’s a cheapened philosophy. Our God is just and right. Thus, even a single iota of dirt disqualifies you. If you have ever sinned, silently observed sinful actions or thought of sin in any way since you were born, you are disqualified. That’s how glorious the standard of God is. If you want to try to meet the standard without Jesus, well, I wish you the best of luck.

So in the end, Judgement Day is not a competition; it is an unveiling. God is not looking for those whose good outweighs their bad among men — He is looking for those who met His standard in Christ. Righteousness allows you into the gate; works are put on the scale. Both begin and end in Christ. Without Him, even your best efforts will fall short. With Him, even the smallest cup of water given in His name will not go unrewarded. Let every man examine himself — not to earn salvation, but to build wisely upon the only sure foundation: Jesus Christ. For on that Day, the fire will test every man’s work, and only what was done in Him, through Him, and for Him will endure.

Breaking Out, Breaking Up, Breaking In & Breakthroughs

Breakthroughs don’t just happen. They are fought for. In the Kingdom, every breakthrough follows a pattern of alignment, not ambition. You cannot sustainably breakthrough where you haven’t honoured the process. But there’s more—before the breakthrough, there are three crucial stages that God walks us through to Break out, Break up, Break in and only then… Break through. Everyone loves the sound of “breakthrough,” but what if you break through when you haven’t first broken out, broken up, or broken in? What happens when a man ascends too early? What happens when a door opens before you’re ready? The answer is simple: what was meant to be an elevation becomes your downfall. Let’s take them one by one.

Break Out – Leaving the Enemy’s Camp

“Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord.” – 2 Corinthians 6:17

Before God ushers you into anything great, He first calls you out of what is familiar into what is peculiar. Israel had to break out of Egypt before they could receive Canaan. You cannot sit in Pharaoh’s palace and expect to inherit God’s promises. In the same way, many are asking God for fruitfulness while still camping in the territory of compromise. That’s not how this works.

If you don’t break out of the enemy’s camp, your breakthrough becomes a trojan horse. You may step into a new place, but with old chains still on your feet. You’ll carry the language, loyalties, and lifestyle of Egypt into the Promised Land, and soon, the land will vomit you out. You can’t bring your old self, old ways and old thinking into God’s Kingdom. That’s why many rise in influence, wealth or ministry and crash—because their hearts never left where God once called them out from. They were gifted, but not equipped. That kind of breakthrough is a trap, not a triumph.

Breaking out is a spiritual jailbreak. It is when you consciously refuse to remain in systems, mindsets, and environments where the devil is king. You cannot seek results over righteousness and expect to see God’s glory. Before the prodigal son received restoration, he came to himself in the pigsty and said, “I will arise and go to my father.” That’s the break out moment—when you refuse to be defined by the prison of your past.

2. Break Up – Severing Every Tie with Sin and Stagnation

“Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the LORD.” – Hosea 10:12

Breaking out is one thing; breaking up is another. You can leave Egypt, but Egypt might still be in your heart. Breaking up is when God deals with the residue. It’s when He cuts off every entanglement with sin, with soul ties, with bitterness, with every loyalty to darkness that refuses to let go. If you didn’t break up with sin, fleshly habits, or demonic alliances, your breakthrough will expose you, not exalt you. Elevation magnifies character. If you didn’t deal with the weights in the secret place, they will collapse you on the stage.

You will stand at the gate of influence and find yourself drawn back by what you refused to crucify. Lot’s wife entered the open gate of salvation but turned back in her heart. She escaped Sodom but didn’t break up with it—and she turned into a pillar of salt. Many have received platforms and titles only to become statues—lifeless, ineffective, and silenced by their own compromise.

There are some people and habits you don’t negotiate with—you break up with them. If God is going to trust you with the next level, He will first test if you are willing to sever the weights of the previous one. Every breakthrough is preceded by a divorce from what disqualifies you. Don’t romanticize your chains. Don’t glamorize your Egypt. Break up with whatever holds your heart hostage, so you don’t return to the same sin after you’ve tasted His mercy.

3. Break In – Entering the Door God Has Opened

“For a great and effectual door is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” – 1 Corinthians 16:9

After you’ve broken out and broken up, now comes the breaking in. This is where many stall, stay and settle. The door may be open, but the enemies still stand there. Due to your understanding of the jurisdiction of the devil, you should understand that just because God has spoken does not mean the enemy shouldn’t come and attempt to stop you. Just because God gave you a prophecy doesn’t mean the enemy should sit idle while you step into it.

If you bypass the process of breaking in, you won’t last long at the top. You may have gotten the job, the mic, the marriage, the ministry—but you skipped the resistance training that makes you strong enough to handle it. That’s why the children of Israel lingered in the wilderness for 40 years instead of 40 days. It’s not as if they couldn’t enter the Promised Land; they were not trained for battle to occupy it. Because while the door was open, you never developed the muscles to stand in it. The adversaries you avoid in training will defeat you in battle. God doesn’t just want you to breakthrough. He wants you to endure after the breakthrough. And for that, process is non-negotiable.

Breaking in requires discernment, warfare, and boldness. When Israel crossed the Jordan, Jericho was standing in the way. The door was open, but the wall was high. You’ll need faith to break into what God has already handed over to you. Don’t ask for open doors if you’re not ready for opposing giants. Don’t pray for access if you’re not willing to possess the land. Break in like David facing Goliath—with a stone and a word from the Lord. Break in like Joshua, marching around the wall. Breaking in prepares you to sustain your breakthrough.

4. Breaking through & Becoming a Channel for Others to Breakthrough

“And the breaker goes up before them… they break through the gate and go out by it. So their king goes on before them, and the LORD at their head.” – Micah 2:13

Now comes the breakthrough—but not before the other three. This is where the chains are broken, but not just for you. You now become a breaker for others. You don’t just break in for yourself; you break through for the generations coming after you. You’ve scaled the mountain. You’ve fought the giants. You’ve survived the refining. And now, you burst through the stronghold that once seemed immovable. But here’s the secret: what you call breakthrough, Heaven calls maturity. You didn’t just receive a testimony—you became one.

The breakthrough is not just about open doors. It’s about transformed hearts. It’s about finishing the race with scars that prove you didn’t give up.

A premature breakthrough is not progress—it’s a setup. If you didn’t let God break you out of worldly systems, break you up from sin and weights, and break you into your ordained territory through faith and warfare, your breakthrough will backfire. So let Him take you through every stage. As you go through the breaking, He breaks you. Let the breaking prepare you for the building. Let the pruning precede the planting. Let the wilderness shape your character before the throne tests your heart.

Don’t force the breakthrough. Prepare for it. If you’re praying for a breakthrough, ask God to prepare you to break out, to break up, and to break in. Because God doesn’t hand breakthroughs to people still romancing their bondage. He trains warriors in the wilderness and leads them up with purpose. So if the season feels heavy, trust God. Break out. Break up. Break in, and the breakthrough will find you already standing in your promised place—ready, refined, and victorious.

The Jurisdiction of the Devil

If you don’t have a lawyer as a friend, it’s time to get one. Legal matters are very delicate, and ignorance is no excuse. It’s the same in the realms of the spirit. God the Father sits in the office of the Judge, and Jesus the Son is our Advocate, our Intercessor. God the Spirit is “Allos Parakletos”, another Advocate, our Helper. Let me tell you something that can leave you in deep thought; there is NOTHING that happens without the legal authority of the Judge of All. Yes! Nothing happens in your life, good or bad, without passing through the courtroom of Heaven. Nothing. Even the money that got missing last month was, in a way, legally permitted—not by God’s delight, but by your negligence. Your sloppiness gave the enemy the jurisdiction to operate. In courts of justice, jurisdiction is everything. The easiest thing a fool can do is blame God. The best thing a wise person can do is understand the legalities involved and act accordingly. Let’s delve in!

The Right to Choose: the Foundation of all Jurisdiction

First of all, it is important to know that God created us with a will to choose. Angels also have a will as the Bible is very clear on that. Angels are not robots. In fact, God never creates anything as robots. Our ability to choose is not because man fell. Man had that choice before the fall and we will continue to have that choice throughout eternity. The devil didn’t have a devil to deceive him. So how did he become the devil? He had a choice. He fell by choice. If God stops everyone from having choices, it stops the possibility of having another devil in future when this devil is destroyed. It will, however, revoke our ability to love because where there is love, there is a choice. God is not a dictator. He is not insecure. He is not afraid of the possibility of a devil when He can use even the devil to fulfill His own plans. He allows the story to unfold.

God does not need to create sin or evil. Disobedience is an option because of the choice to obey. There was no sin in this realm until Adam sinned. By Adam’s sin, sin entered into this realm. Before that, God gave man just one law. The establishment of a law establishes the lawgiver as an authority. It’s only fools who will blame God for giving a law. Proof that God is Lord over your life is that you obey His laws. What did the law do then? It gave man a choice. God is never ambiguous. He clearly showed Adam what was legal and what was not. It didn’t end there. He explicitly told man what the cost of disobedience was.

Temptation is Legal. Occupation is Not!

This is where the jurisdiction of the devil comes in. Someone will ask where God was when the serpent came to tempt Adam and Eve. God is not insecure. If He is to make you more than what Lucifer was, then you have to pass the test Lucifer failed so you don’t become another satan. I am convinced there won’t be a new devil in the New Heaven because anyone who takes on even an iota of the image of the devil in them in this life will successfully make it to hell. Do you get it? The earth is a testing ground, and the devil itself has been employed. That is his jurisdiction. That’s why he was allowed to come in and tempt Adam and Eve although they were sinless. That’s why he was allowed to tempt Jesus although He is sinless. Don’t let it surprise you when he comes to tempt you regardless of how fortified you are. He is allowed to try.

A lot of Christians don’t like the idea that God will leave the devil to roam around. You don’t have to like the idea. God has His way. The devil, who was the first to disobey, also has his own way and has created his own civilization for those who don’t want God’s way. You can’t choose both. Not choosing God’s way of life is an automatic choice of death. The devil is allowed to come and tempt you. Why? Because that’s an opportunity to choose God’s way. Temptation is not an avenue to fail. It is an opportunity to choose God time and again. Change your perspective on temptation; it is an avenue for your elevation. Even when God became man, we saw that the devil was legally given an opportune time to tempt him. The prince of this world cometh, but he has nothing on me. He comes, but he finds nothing. That is the goal. Take note to understand what I say and didn’t say because your believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth is the basis for legal transactions.

What You Allow is Legal

If you believe and confess that the enemy can harm you, you give him the legal authority to harm you. If you believe he is supposed to retaliate and take back whenever you fight, you legally emboldened him. The moment you start believing that retaliation is inevitable after every spiritual victory—that Satan must come back and reclaim ground—you have legally authorized him to do just that. God did not give him that jurisdiction; you did. Be careful about the kind of legal transactions you are doing. Scripture says that when David sinned by taking Bathsheba, he gave the enemies of God an occasion to blaspheme (2 Samuel 12:14). Think about it—your sin doesn’t just affect you. It empowers the enemy and dishonors God. The devil cannot force you to sin. He cannot even command you to sin. The best he can do is to suggest it to you seductively, as if it’s such a good idea. But the final act will always be written in your name. That’s why, when you fall, Heaven records it as a willful rebellion. You didn’t just sin—you signed over rights. You gave the enemy legal access. That’s all he needs.

I said the devil is allowed to come and tempt you so don’t be surprised when you are tempted. He has legal permission to test you by temptation. What he is not allowed to do is stay. That’s why Jesus said “Depart from me”. When the enemy shows up, he’s testing your jurisdiction. If you yield, he stays. If you resist, he flees. You have been a greater authority to resist him for him to flee. One will say, if I can resist him that easily and sack him, why is he allowed to come and tempt me in the first place? It is an avenue that was created for you to use the authority you have over him. God didn’t have to take away the devil’s powers. He simply gave you greater authority over it. Authority must be enforced. Proof that you have authority is that you use it. Unused authority is as good as being ignorant of your authority.

The devil has never done any illegal transactions. Cherubs protect the Glory of God with jealousy. That means they bring judgement on any form of evil that seeks to contend with God for His Glory. He was once a cherub—one of the highest-ranking angels that guarded the Glory of God. As a cherub, he knew how to execute judgment against all threats to God’s Glory. When Lucifer fell, his role as cherub was corrupted. He became satan, which means accuser. he hasn’t stopped operating as a legal enforcer. Except now, his zeal is directed at bringing judgment against you.  He hates you and wants God to destroy you when you fall short of His Glory. He comes to tempt and deceive us. If we fall, he runs into the Court of Heaven to tell the Judge to punish us according to His Word. He will quote the Bible verse we disobeyed. He presents himself as precedent, asking for equal judgment on you.

In Ephesians 6, Paul lists the demonic hierarchy: principalities, powers, rulers, and spiritual wickedness. The lowest—principalities—attack first, probing for breaches. When they find one, “powers” (Greek: exousia, meaning delegated authority) come in to establish control. These powers don’t barge in—they’re invited. The moment you disobey God or violate divine law, you surrender jurisdiction. You give the devil receipts. He will turn a foothold into a stronghold. When they are able to find a foothold or a breach in the wall, the powers come to establish their authority to perpetuate more evil and influence cultures from their acquired jurisdiction.

God stripped the devil of all authority. So in order to have the right to torment you, use you or even speak through you, he needs your consent. That is why Ephesians 4:27 tells us not to give the devil a foothold. He will turn it into a stronghold. He will do all of this evil legally because you gave him the right. If you listen to his deceit, you give him authority. If you go where God didn’t send you, you give him permission to harm you because you are outside of God’s Will. If you do what God didn’t ask you or disobey God, you give the enemy the right to lord over you. This is how he secures authority to fool in your life etc because he has receipts to show that you consented to his thievery.

Never forget this: the devil needs your agreement. He cannot override your will. If you believe his lies, you empower him. If you obey him, you license him. If you walk outside of God’s instruction, you step into his jurisdiction. The devil didn’t need to take Adam’s authority by force. Adam handed it over. As a child of God, he cannot defeat you by power but he has defeated many by permission. Don’t fight blindly. Know your rights. Understand the laws. Resist with Scripture. Obey God fully. And when the devil shows up, let him find nothing in you. That is how we win. Not by emotional shouting—but by standing on legal ground.
