  • The Jurisdiction of the Devil

If you don’t have a lawyer as a friend, it’s time to get one. Legal matters are very delicate, and ignorance is no excuse. It’s the same in the realms of the spirit. God the Father sits in the office of the Judge, and Jesus the Son is our Advocate, our Intercessor. God the Spirit is “Allos Parakletos”, another Advocate, our Helper. Let me tell you something that can leave you in deep thought; there is NOTHING that happens without the legal authority of the Judge of All. Yes! Nothing happens in your life, good or bad, without passing through the courtroom of Heaven. Nothing. Even the money that got missing last month was, in a way, legally permitted—not by God’s delight, but by your negligence. Your sloppiness gave the enemy the jurisdiction to operate. In courts of justice, jurisdiction is everything. The easiest thing a fool can do is blame God. The best thing a wise person can do is understand the legalities involved and act accordingly. Let’s delve in!

The Right to Choose: the Foundation of all Jurisdiction

First of all, it is important to know that God created us with a will to choose. Angels also have a will as the Bible is very clear on that. Angels are not robots. In fact, God never creates anything as robots. Our ability to choose is not because man fell. Man had that choice before the fall and we will continue to have that choice throughout eternity. The devil didn’t have a devil to deceive him. So how did he become the devil? He had a choice. He fell by choice. If God stops everyone from having choices, it stops the possibility of having another devil in future when this devil is destroyed. It will, however, revoke our ability to love because where there is love, there is a choice. God is not a dictator. He is not insecure. He is not afraid of the possibility of a devil when He can use even the devil to fulfill His own plans. He allows the story to unfold.

God does not need to create sin or evil. Disobedience is an option because of the choice to obey. There was no sin in this realm until Adam sinned. By Adam’s sin, sin entered into this realm. Before that, God gave man just one law. The establishment of a law establishes the lawgiver as an authority. It’s only fools who will blame God for giving a law. Proof that God is Lord over your life is that you obey His laws. What did the law do then? It gave man a choice. God is never ambiguous. He clearly showed Adam what was legal and what was not. It didn’t end there. He explicitly told man what the cost of disobedience was.

Temptation is Legal. Occupation is Not!

This is where the jurisdiction of the devil comes in. Someone will ask where God was when the serpent came to tempt Adam and Eve. God is not insecure. If He is to make you more than what Lucifer was, then you have to pass the test Lucifer failed so you don’t become another satan. I am convinced there won’t be a new devil in the New Heaven because anyone who takes on even an iota of the image of the devil in them in this life will successfully make it to hell. Do you get it? The earth is a testing ground, and the devil itself has been employed. That is his jurisdiction. That’s why he was allowed to come in and tempt Adam and Eve although they were sinless. That’s why he was allowed to tempt Jesus although He is sinless. Don’t let it surprise you when he comes to tempt you regardless of how fortified you are. He is allowed to try.

A lot of Christians don’t like the idea that God will leave the devil to roam around. You don’t have to like the idea. God has His way. The devil, who was the first to disobey, also has his own way and has created his own civilization for those who don’t want God’s way. You can’t choose both. Not choosing God’s way of life is an automatic choice of death. The devil is allowed to come and tempt you. Why? Because that’s an opportunity to choose God’s way. Temptation is not an avenue to fail. It is an opportunity to choose God time and again. Change your perspective on temptation; it is an avenue for your elevation. Even when God became man, we saw that the devil was legally given an opportune time to tempt him. The prince of this world cometh, but he has nothing on me. He comes, but he finds nothing. That is the goal. Take note to understand what I say and didn’t say because your believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth is the basis for legal transactions.

    What You Allow is Legal

If you believe and confess that the enemy can harm you, you give him the legal authority to harm you. If you believe he is supposed to retaliate and take back whenever you fight, you legally emboldened him. The moment you start believing that retaliation is inevitable after every spiritual victory—that Satan must come back and reclaim ground—you have legally authorized him to do just that. God did not give him that jurisdiction; you did. Be careful about the kind of legal transactions you are doing. Scripture says that when David sinned by taking Bathsheba, he gave the enemies of God an occasion to blaspheme (2 Samuel 12:14). Think about it—your sin doesn’t just affect you. It empowers the enemy and dishonors God. The devil cannot force you to sin. He cannot even command you to sin. The best he can do is to suggest it to you seductively, as if it’s such a good idea. But the final act will always be written in your name. That’s why, when you fall, Heaven records it as a willful rebellion. You didn’t just sin—you signed over rights. You gave the enemy legal access. That’s all he needs.

I said the devil is allowed to come and tempt you so don’t be surprised when you are tempted. He has legal permission to test you by temptation. What he is not allowed to do is stay. That’s why Jesus said “Depart from me”. When the enemy shows up, he’s testing your jurisdiction. If you yield, he stays. If you resist, he flees. You have been a greater authority to resist him for him to flee. One will say, if I can resist him that easily and sack him, why is he allowed to come and tempt me in the first place? It is an avenue that was created for you to use the authority you have over him. God didn’t have to take away the devil’s powers. He simply gave you greater authority over it. Authority must be enforced. Proof that you have authority is that you use it. Unused authority is as good as being ignorant of your authority.

The devil has never done any illegal transactions. Cherubs protect the Glory of God with jealousy. That means they bring judgement on any form of evil that seeks to contend with God for His Glory. He was once a cherub—one of the highest-ranking angels that guarded the Glory of God. As a cherub, he knew how to execute judgment against all threats to God’s Glory. When Lucifer fell, his role as cherub was corrupted. He became satan, which means accuser. he hasn’t stopped operating as a legal enforcer. Except now, his zeal is directed at bringing judgment against you.  He hates you and wants God to destroy you when you fall short of His Glory. He comes to tempt and deceive us. If we fall, he runs into the Court of Heaven to tell the Judge to punish us according to His Word. He will quote the Bible verse we disobeyed. He presents himself as precedent, asking for equal judgment on you.

In Ephesians 6, Paul lists the demonic hierarchy: principalities, powers, rulers, and spiritual wickedness. The lowest—principalities—attack first, probing for breaches. When they find one, “powers” (Greek: exousia, meaning delegated authority) come in to establish control. These powers don’t barge in—they’re invited. The moment you disobey God or violate divine law, you surrender jurisdiction. You give the devil receipts. He will turn a foothold into a stronghold. When they are able to find a foothold or a breach in the wall, the powers come to establish their authority to perpetuate more evil and influence cultures from their acquired jurisdiction.

God stripped the devil of all authority. So in order to have the right to torment you, use you or even speak through you, he needs your consent. That is why Ephesians 4:27 tells us not to give the devil a foothold. He will turn it into a stronghold. He will do all of this evil legally because you gave him the right. If you listen to his deceit, you give him authority. If you go where God didn’t send you, you give him permission to harm you because you are outside of God’s Will. If you do what God didn’t ask you or disobey God, you give the enemy the right to lord over you. This is how he secures authority to fool in your life etc because he has receipts to show that you consented to his thievery.

Never forget this: the devil needs your agreement. He cannot override your will. If you believe his lies, you empower him. If you obey him, you license him. If you walk outside of God’s instruction, you step into his jurisdiction. The devil didn’t need to take Adam’s authority by force. Adam handed it over. As a child of God, he cannot defeat you by power but he has defeated many by permission. Don’t fight blindly. Know your rights. Understand the laws. Resist with Scripture. Obey God fully. And when the devil shows up, let him find nothing in you. That is how we win. Not by emotional shouting—but by standing on legal ground.

  • The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

The Fatherhood of God is the Pinnacle of all relationships. It is what makes inheritance and  reproduction possible. The highest revelation of the devil is as a deceiver. The highest revelation of God is as a Father. In all of experience, there is no relationship more transformative, more intimate, or more eternal than God being our Father. Not merely a cosmic Creator. Not just a distant Sovereign. Not only a Transcendent Being. Father. This relationship is not symbolic. It is real. It is eternal. It is heavenly DNA. The proof of this fellowship, the seal of this covenant, is Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

When Jesus walked the earth, He did something radical. See, God had mentioned that He was a Father several times in the Old Testament but it was never a continuous personal reality to any individual. Jesus called God Father over 165 times in the 4 Gospels. He introduced a relationship with God that no Old Testament prophet had ever dared to define so personally: Abba, Father. Not just “God of all Creation” or “God of Israel” but Father. In fact, when He taught His disciples to pray, the very first line was, “Our Father who art in Heaven…” It was a revelation of identity that we are not talking to a Wind or Invisible Being; we are talking to a Person who is really our Father.

To know God as Father is to know your origin, your identity, your inheritance, and your eternal home. A Father doesn’t just give commands; He gives life. You don’t only serve Him; you have access to Him. It’s not a formal relationship. It is a cordial one with all due respect, love and affection. This is the relationship God the Father has with God the Son. We were created to participate in the relationship that exists within the Trinity.

Jesus: God the Son, Eternally from the Father

Now here lies the mystery that grounds this revelation: Jesus, who is Himself God, is called the Son of God. Why? Not because He was created, for He existed from eternity. Not because He was born later, for He is the Word that was with God and was God. He is eternally begotten, not made, as the Church has confessed for centuries. If you believe Jesus was created, you are not even a Christian. This Sonship speaks not of time, but of relationship. He is God the Son, not merely in title, but in nature.

He is the Son and therefore, everything is done through Him, by Him and for Him. He is the visible image of the invisible God. He did not become the Son when He was born in Bethlehem. Yes, a time came when He was begotten in the flesh as the Son of Man but He always pre-existed as the Son of God. He has always been the Son, because God has always been the Father. The sonship of men is a replica of the Sonship of Christ with God, not vice versa. Giving birth to a son makes us understand the eternal relationship that exists between God the Father and God the Son.

The Original and Replica of Fatherhood & Sonship

You cannot be a father without a child. You cannot be a master without a servant. You cannot be an employer without employees. Proof of your fatherhood is your reproduction of sons. Herein lies the depth of this truth: God has always been Father, not because He is the Father of Spirits, but is God the Father in the Trinity. That means He was Father before anything was created. He is the only Being in the entire universe with 3 persons so it becomes difficult to understand the Triune Nature of God. The Father is not the head of the Trinity. Remember that the Father and Son existed before there were fathers and sons. Our replica of having fathers and sons does not and cannot fully depict the relationship between the Father and Son.

For instance, the Trinity does not have or need a mother. Also, in ours, the father is always higher than the son although the son grows to also become a father. A foreshadow is never a full depiction. The Trinity is not a hierarchy of importance, but a perfect unity of Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-equal in glory, distinct in person. Therefore, not every aspect of our replica is exhibited in the Trinity and vice versa.

Also, even the arrangement of their names – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit – is simply because of how they were revealed to us. It is strategically and intentionally arranged that way but it has no ranking or hierarchy within. God the Father in the Old Testament, Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us, and the Holy Spirit was poured out when Jesus left the earth. Immediately we begin to think that God the Father is greater than God the Son, that means we make God the Holy Spirit the smallest of them all. That is not just a bad idea o. It’s an erroneous and evil one. How about when Jesus said the Father is greater than He, when He walked the earth? You’re right to ask for precision. Let me clarify.

Is the Father Greater than the Son?

When Jesus said, “The Father is greater than I”, He was not denying His divinity or eternal equality with the Father, but speaking in the context of His incarnation as the Son who had taken on flesh and entered into the limitations of human life. As at the time He hadn’t died and resurrected, the Bible said He was even made a little lower than the angels as clearly written in Hebrews 2:9. He suffered every affliction known to man and had to fully rely on the Holy Spirit. Though He was God, He did not think that by force He should try to remain equal with God. Instead of this, of His own free will He gave up all He had, and took the nature of a servant. He became like a human being and appeared in human likeness. Imagine God being hungry, tired, travelling on two legs, tempted, surprised etc.

He was humble and walked the path of obedience all the way to death, His death on the cross. In becoming man, He willingly accepted a lowered position (not a lesser nature), humbling Himself to obey the Father’s will in the work of redemption. The statement reflects the functional distinction within the Godhead during His earthly mission, not an ontological difference. As God, He is equal with the Father. He was fully and truly God as He walked upon the earth as the incarnate Son sent into the world. However, because He laid down many of His God-abilities so He could carry our burdens, He acknowledged the Father as greater in position and authority within the redemptive order.

📖 “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” – Matthew 3:17

In this relationship, we see eternal love. The Father loves the Son. The Son honors the Father. The Spirit reveals and glorifies the Son. There is no competition in the Godhead. Only love, only joy, only truth.

The Son of God & the Son of Man

When Jesus is called the Son of God, it affirms both His divinity and His mission. What He did can only be done by Him. He is the Son of God as God and He is also the Son of God as Man, born of a woman, born under the Law, to fulfill the promise made to David. The Son of God became the Son of Man so that the sons of men will become the sons of God.

📖 “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” – John 1:14

He is not God pretending to be man. He is God made man, who took on flesh and yet remained divine; the perfect Son, the obedient Lamb, the image of the invisible Father. By Him, we understand what God intended when He created man. Through Him, we understand who God is. By His Sonship, we are drawn into this family. He reconciles God with man, fully representing God and embodying the fullness of the original intention of man as planned in Genesis 1:26.

God the Father is the eternal God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, being the only begotten Son from eternity, shared perfect fellowship with the Father before the foundation of the world. Yet in love, Christ humbled Himself and took on flesh, becoming the Son of Man, so that through His life, death, and resurrection, He might bring many sons to glory. By uniting Himself with humanity, He opened the way for us to share in His relationship with the Father, which is no longer distant or estranged, but reconciled and adopted. Now, through Him, we can boldly call God our Father, for the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ has become, through grace, our God and our Father (John 20:17), drawing us into the same covenantal love and divine fellowship that the Son has eternally enjoyed.

    Abba! Father!

You can know God as a Judge and still be lost. You can know Him as Creator and remain outside the garden. You can even fear Him as Almighty, yet never know Him as Abba. But when you truly know Him as Father, everything changes.

The Spirit of Sonship is what confirms our adoption. It is what makes us heirs with Christ, co-seated with Him in the heavens. It is what heals our orphanhood and silences the lie that we are abandoned. It is what gives us boldness to pray, to hope, to wait; because we are not begging strangers. We are coming to our Father.

In ancient Jewish culture, adoption was not a common legal practice as it was in Roman society, but the concept of being chosen and placed into a familial relationship held deep covenantal significance, especially through inheritance and lineage. Unlike modern adoption which often involves bringing an unrelated child into a new family out of compassion, the biblical idea, particularly in the New Testament, emphasizes the act of God legally placing us as sons with full rights and privileges. Paul, writing to both Jews and Gentiles familiar with Roman law, uses the term “adoption” (huiothesia) to express the profound truth that, through Christ, we are not just forgiven but brought into God’s family as full heirs (Romans 8:15, Galatians 4:4-7). This spiritual adoption is not based on need or pity, but on divine purpose and covenantal grace, granting us the same status and access to the Father as His own Son.

This sits at the heart of the Gospel: that God is not only holy and powerful; He is Father. And through Jesus the Son, He is your Father too.

  • The Bob Jones 100-Year Prophecy: A Timeline of God’s Agenda in the Body of Christ

In 1975, prophetic voice Bob Jones, after a near-death encounter, was shown a panoramic timeline of God’s move on the earth—stretching from the 1950s to the 2050s and even glimpses into the 2060s. It was a precise divine strategy—each decade unveiling a layer of the progressive restoration of the Church before the return of Christ. As with all divine timelines, God invites us not only to observe but to align, so we may take our ordained place in His unfolding purposes.

This prophecy reveals that history is not spiraling randomly. Instead, the Spirit of God has been faithfully steering the Church through a course of increasing revelation, maturity, and power, leading to the manifestation of the sons of God. Let’s walk through this prophetic calendar, decade by decade. That notwithstanding, there are still diverse emphases the Spirit of God places for every day, week, month, year and for every individual and church for His purposes and Will.

1950s – The Power of God

This decade witnessed the eruption of the healing revivals in the United States. Evangelists like William Branham, Oral Roberts, A.A. Allen, Jack Coe, and T.L. Osborn traveled across continents with undeniable healing anointings never seen before. Tent meetings drew thousands. Crutches were dropped, cancers vanished, the lame walked. In fact, creative miracles were happening before the very eyes of crowds. God was demonstrating that He had not changed. He still heals. The Body of Christ was introduced to a divine power that shook the foundations of cessationist theology. This was the beginning of restoration: the dunamis of God was back in the Church, just like in the book of Acts.

1960s – The Spirit of God

The Charismatic Movement broke through orthodox walls. The baptism of the Holy Spirit swept into Catholic and mainline Protestant churches. The Pentecostal experience, once confined to mushroom churches, was now invading traditional pulpits. This was the work of the Spirit restoring His rightful place in the Church. Leaders like Dennis Bennett and David du Plessis were instrumental in bridging the gap between orthodoxy and spiritual vitality. Speaking in tongues, prophecy, and gifts of the Spirit became increasingly accepted across the Body. The Spirit was now moving—not in the corner—but in the center.

1970s – The Word of God

This decade emphasized grounding the explosive power of the previous moves in sound doctrine. Teaching ministries flourished. Men like Derek Prince, Kenneth Hagin, Billy Graham, William Kumuyi, Enoch Adeboye, Uma Ukpai and Fred Price laid foundational truths in the Word of God. Bible schools sprang up globally. As God raised more teaching priests and prophets, the Word Movement balanced the Charismatic zeal with biblical literacy. Believers were taught not just to shout, but to stand; not just to receive, but to believe and confess. The Church began to mature into doctrinal discernment. This was God rooting revival in truth and character.

1980s – The Prophets of God

The prophetic mantle was restored in earnest. Bob Jones, Paul Cain, John Paul Jackson, and others—often collectively called the Kansas City Prophets—rose with accurate dreams, visions, and national-level words. The language of “prophetic ministry” returned to the Church after centuries of dormancy. In Ghana, this decade birthed prophetic fathers like Osofo Amoako and many others, who began with fellowships in communities. God was raising eyes and ears for the Church. No longer would we walk blindly—we would discern the times and seasons and take advantage of the moves of the Spirit.

1990s – The Government of God

Apostolic ministry emerged. C. Peter Wagner, Lou Engle, John Eckhardt, Pastor David Yonggi Cho, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, Archbishop Benson Idahosa and Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams began to articulate and walk in apostolic authority throughout the continents. Churches shifted from pastor-led models to apostolic networks. Governmental graces began to redefine spiritual territories. The doctrine of fivefold ministry was now more than theological theory—it was becoming an operational blueprint. The Church was being structured for Kingdom advancement.

2000s – The Glory of God

The Toronto Blessing, Brownsville Revival, and the Lakeland Outpouring carried tangible manifestations of God’s glory. Unusual signs appeared—gold dust, supernatural oil, glory clouds. While some mocked, others beheld glory. Worship entered a new dimension. Hillsong, Bethel, IHOPKC, and Jesus Culture gave birth to songs that became altar calls in themselves. In Africa, many ministries broke into architectural and global influence. God was clothing the Church with glory. The priestly garments were restored as kings took their rightful place in their high places.

2010s – The Faith of God

This decade ushered in the audacity of faith. Not just faith in God, but the faith of God. Mark 11:22, correctly rendered in Greek, reads “Have the faith of God.” This was echoed across movements. Bishop David Oyedepo built the largest church auditorium in Africa with zero loans. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome birthed healing schools and global evangelism streams. Faith was no longer an option—it was the operating system. This decade enforced the Word of Faith movement into the average lifestyle of the believer. With purity of conscience and yielded-ness to the Spirit, believers began declaring possibilites and confessions. God’s people were now speaking from His heart, not just to His ears.

2020s – The Rest of God

This current decade has seen turbulence—pandemics, political upheavals, and spiritual warfare. Yet, prophetically, it is the age of rest. Hebrews 4 speaks of a rest remaining for the people of God. We now learnt that true warfare is waged from rest. Apostolic voices like Apostle Arome Osayi, Apostle Joshua Selman, Apostle Mike Orokpo and Apostle Femi Lazarus emphasizes both His wisdom and power. The Body is entering a Sabbath dimension as we prepare for the next decade. Ephesians 2:22 is now a reality: God dwells in us cooperately by His Spirit. This decade will dismantle spiritual parasites and false doctrines to prepare the Church for long-term dominion.

2030s – The Family of God

Denominations will blur out completely. Streams will merge. It will be hard to tell if someone is Methodist, Pentecostal, or Charismatic. We will simply be sons and daughters, brothers and sisters. The global Church will function like a united family. Prophetic intercession will surge. If one is touched, all willfeel it. Global networks of intercessors will respond with coordinated firepower. There will be transcontinental collaborations for revival and reformation. Even now, movements like “The Send”, “PrayerStorm” and “OneRace” are precursors to this family identity. The truth is, what God starts continues. Also, what matures and manifests today was seeded years ago.

2040s – The Kingdom of God

No longer will the Church isolate itself in pews. The church will go beyond the four walls of the building. This is the age of kingdom legislation. Apostles will sit in parliament. Prophets will advise presidents. The model will be Daniel in Babylon and Joseph in Egypt. Theocracy will not mean religious dictatorship, but godly influence in secular systems. Isaiah 2:2 will be fulfilled: the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be exalted. Kingdom culture will override carnal systems. Nehemiahs will be governors and many saviours shall rise and lead nations into milk and honey.

2050s – The Sons of God

Romans 8:19 declares it plainly: the earth groans for the manifestation of the sons of God. This is the decade of manifested maturity. These will not be Christians merely in name—they will walk like Christ. Authority over weather, resurrection power, translation, and dominion over death will be normal. Like Enoch, they will walk with God. Like Elijah, they will call down fire. Like Jesus, they will live a sinless life. These are not pulpit-bound preachers. They are kingdom emissaries in every domain. The average Christian will be full of integrity and power.

Glimpses into the 2060s – The Church in Glory
Bob Jones once said, “I saw the Church walking in the glory of God. It had power over death, over the weather. You couldn’t stop them.” The saints will not only escape death—they will reverse it. Some will choose to stay or go, like Paul. These will be the dreaded champions of God. The earth will behold the Bride in full regalia—glorious, powerful, and unstoppable. It will be the Church that Christ returns for.

This timeline is not fantasy—it’s prophecy. As aforementioned, there are still diverse emphases the Spirit of God places for every day, week, month, year and for every individual and church for His purposes and Will. This timeline pertains to the body of Christ. Names of men of God and organisations were mentioned to place emphasis only. Not every labourer and everything that has gone on was or could have been captured.

Every fulfilled decade proves the veracity of the next. And we are not spectators. We are participants. Do not despise the pain of the process. Align. Prepare. Rise. You were born for such a time as this. The heavens belong to God—but the earth, He has given to the sons of men (Psalm 115:16). Let the Bride arise. Let the Church awaken. Let the sons manifest. Amen.

  • Warfare Strategies of the Kingdom of God III

Early this year in February and March, we discussed the Warfare Strategies of the Kingdom of God. We started with how God trained David the singer/shepherd boy to David the king warrior. We also explored Nehemiah’s strategy of a tool in one hand and a weapon in the other, Jehoshaphat’s strategy of leading the army with priests who gave praise as well as the Esther’s strategy of eradicating Haman, the decree against the Jews and promoting Mordecai. How God encountered Gideon and trained him was also extensively discussed (although God may lay it upon my heart to continue). Guess what? The LORD gave me about 9 names and I have only discussed 4. Today, we will discuss the Moses’ strategy.

    the Moses Strategy

In Exodus 17:8-16, we see that the people of Israel were up against the Amalekites. This is before they even get the 10 commandments in Exodus 20. The Amalekites were literally the first nation to fight against Israel as they came out of Egypt. They attacked Israel unprovoked without a justifiable reason. I’m talking about the enemy coming to attack very early into your life when you don’t even know your purpose or what you carry. That near-death experience you had in your childhood and that trauma you suffered in your teenage years was an Amalekite move of the Kingdom of darkness to frustrate your journey.

What did Moses do? When you are attacked suddenly, what will you do? When there’s a premature attack long before the kairos moment, how do you handle it? The Moses strategy. By now, you should realise that every story in the Bible is super relevant. Every word in Scripture was specifically chosen to communicate. Every battle fought in Scriptures speaks volumes because they reveal precepts, principles, postures, practices and patterns.

The Secret Things are from the Secret Place

The Moses strategy can only be used by those who have a rich relationship with God in the secret place. It’s not self-confidence. It’s not just showing up and acting like a boss. The LORD has already promised to help us out on the day of calamity. When it strikes, Wisdom will appear beside you and show you how to navigate the situation. Wisdom will direct your steps and show you mysteries no man can teach you. The average Christian has a more active outer court life than a priestly Most Holy Place lifestyle. Thus, we rush to enter the Most Holy Place when things suddenly go south. Problems shouldn’t draw you closer to God more than love does.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s about time we grew up. It’s babes who need a total intervention when things mess up. Every miracle in Scriptures included the participation of man. You may want God to get up and come and do it but isn’t it more romantic for God to do it through you? When you have an active prayer life and the altar of your secret place is on fire, the Amalekites strategy will not expose you. If your strength fails on the day of adversity, your strength is weak. We should be already ready before the day of battle because the enemy does not play by the rules. Moses didn’t pray so me too, I will show up and speak to the mountain because I don’t need to pray. My dear, you can’t fool spirits. If you don’t have it, you don’t have it. Whenever trouble comes and you see a man face it without praying for long in public, it’s because he already prays in secret. Refer to the ministry of Jesus!

How to Do it Is As Important to God as What to Do

When Wisdom tells you what to do, do exactly that. Moses does not need to fight in the battle himself. God is majestic; there’s a particular way He wants His things done. Wisdom teaches us who and how protocol and administration should be handled. If God tells you to do something, don’t just do it. Many people have been shocked to do what God told them and still see failure. You can hear God and do what God told you with your human wisdom. It will fail because it is the Wisdom of God that builds only what lasts. Once God tells you what to do, ask for His Wisdom on how it ought to be done. Wisdom is direct. It’s never ambiguous. Joshua in the valley, Moses on the mountaintop with Aaron and Hur.

The Moses strategy is wisdom fully at play. Moses was to lift up his hand as an expression of the Hand of God destroying the enemies of God. It goes deeper than that. That was a picture of Jehovah Nissi, the LORD who is a Banner over us. His Hand is continually upon His people, and He lifts us up with His Victorious Right Hand. His Banner over us is Love, and He covers us in the shadow of His wings. A little problem, though. Moses is human and cannot stand and lift up his hand throughout the battle. Nonetheless, God is so vast that each human who comes to earth is meant to portray an aspect of God not fully known hitherto. That includes you and I.

Understand this and it will forever help you in life; once God gives you Wisdom on what to do and how to do it, you plan your life in that direction. God is not going to tell you every little detail you need to do because the expression of your free will is still allowed within the confines of His Will. Did you get it? You are called to participate in His Will and every decision you make must be fully influenced by what He communicates to you. We saw that in the Nehemiah and Jehoshaphat strategy where it wasn’t a specific instruction from God that they do what they did but the strategy they chose was nevertheless in direct alignment to the Will of God expressed to them.

    The Place of Strategy

By prophecy, you know what God wants you to do. By wisdom, you know how He wants you to do it. By strategy, you execute what He wants done. This pattern is also seen when Joseph talked with Pharaoh about the famine. It is foolish to strategize when you haven’t ascertained the Will of God concerning the matter. This upside down attitude of strategizing on our own before showing it to God to approve it is a waste of time. Everyone’s hands will become heavy eventually. If you really heard from Wisdom from the beginning, you would have listened and told Aaron and Hur to follow you to the top. The battle is won by the edge of the sword, yes. Yet, skill is nothing if you don’t have the Spirit. Don’t run into battle without a covering.

Joshua and the people fighting did not realise that the outcome of the battle was not the number or the skillset or style. It was directly influenced by the covering. In the realms of the Spirit, just like in this realm, what you are allowed to do is what you have a permit for. You need a backing. How far you go is predetermined by what covers you. We ought to actively participate with God in the establishment of His Will in our lives and in the world. It was this encounter that led to Moses building an altar because the Name of the LORD has been revealed to him. I pray that as we plan and navigate life, God will order our steps in Him and bring us to the place of understanding that it is WITH Him that all things are made possible.

The Moses Strategy teaches us to

    • have a rich hot-vibrant relationship with God on a daily basis, not when battles happen suddenly.
    • operate in the Wisdom of God to know precisely what to do – and how to go about it – in that given situation.
    • have a covering and permission for whatever we do in order to guarantee fruitfulness. Authority precedes strategy.
    • partner with God to establish His Will rather than having a mindset of watching God step in to do what man can do.
  • How the Christianisation of Continents Preceded the Booming of its Civilization

“…Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” — Proverbs 14:34

When Christianity reaches a land, something begins to shift—not just in the souls of men, but in the structures of nations. History proves, time and again, that where the Gospel takes root, civilisation begins to blossom. This is not a poetic coincidence. It is a spiritual law made manifest in natural outcomes. The Light of Christ not only illumines the hearts of men, but the systems they build and the societies they form.

Europe: From Barbarism to the Birthplace of Science and Art

Before the Gospel swept through the European continent, much of its population existed in tribal paganism, blood rituals, and brutal conquests. But the early Christian missionaries—men like St. Patrick, Boniface, and Augustine—planted the seeds of biblical thought across the continent. The Bible introduced the concepts of dignity, order, stewardship, and purpose. The monasteries preserved literacy. Cathedrals became centres of learning. The Reformation reclaimed biblical truth, and with it came the explosion of literacy, printing, democracy, and conscience.

The Christian worldview gave birth to modern science—because if God created the universe with order, then it could be studied with reason. Isaac Newton, Blaise Pascal, Galileo—all confessed faith in the God of the Bible. Europe became the wellspring of philosophy, music, architecture, and industry, all birthed from a people discipled in the ways of Christ. It is of no wonder that Vatican City is saturated with so much artistic beauty inspired by divinity, birthing unusual ability to renaissance.

The Americas: Liberty Rooted in Revelation

The foundation of the American experiment was not merely political—it was deeply theological. The Puritans and Pilgrims did not cross the Atlantic for gold; they came for God. They believed in covenant. That a nation could be in covenant with God was their vision, and they built that nation on biblical principles. The Declaration of Independence echoes the truth that all men are created equal, endowed by their Creator with rights—not given by kings, but by God.

With the spread of Christian ethics came the sanctity of life, freedom of conscience, human rights, and the abolishment of slavery. The Great Awakenings revitalized not just souls but the entire moral framework of the young republic. Hospitals, schools, charities—almost all were pioneered by the Church.

It is no wonder that the nation rose to become a world power. Where Christ is exalted, people flourish.

Africa: The Blossoming After the Gospel

Africa was not new to Christianity—Ethiopia had the Gospel before many parts of Europe did. But in much of sub-Saharan Africa, ancestral worship, animism, and tribal conflict prevailed for centuries. The arrival of Christianity did not bring chains as revisionists argue—it brought books, hospitals, and the abolition of human sacrifice and twin killings.

For a very long time in human history, Africa was called the dark continent. Though very rich in natural resources, poverty and darkness ruled the land for so long. Perhaps, that explains why most of our resources are still intact after so many years of human history. Wherever the Gospel took root—Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya—education began to rise. The first schools were started by missionaries. Some of Africa’s greatest leaders were products of missionary education. Wherever Christ was honoured, society began to heal and move forward.

Even today, some of the most peaceful, progressing parts of Africa are those saturated with churches and the preaching of the Gospel. Africa only saw development after the Gospel infested the land. On the other hand, some of the poorest places with no infrastructural development whatsoever are places The Gospel hasn’t been preached yet. The presence of Christ restrains corruption, dignifies womanhood, uplifts the poor, and strengthens the family.

Asia: The Hidden Blossoms of the Gospel

Though often unacknowledged, the seeds of Christianity planted in parts of Asia have produced quiet revolutions. South Korea is a prime example: in less than a century since Christianity became widespread, it moved from war-torn poverty to a leading technological and economic power. Why? Because the Gospel transformed the moral fabric. It made honesty, education, and compassion the pillars of society. In underground churches in China, revival burns—even under intense persecution. And wherever Christianity spreads, so too does a culture of innovation, human dignity, and national awakening.

Countries like Singapore present striking examples of how Christianisation—though not dominant—played a foundational role in shaping modern civilization through educational, legal, and institutional transformation. In Singapore, Christian missionaries established some of the nation’s top schools, such as Raffles Institution and St. Andrew’s, which later became instrumental in producing visionary leaders and thinkers. The influence of Christian values—such as integrity, diligence, and compassion—found expression in public service and social development, contributing to the country’s rapid rise into a first-world economy.

Christianisation: the Bedrock of the Industrial Revolutions

When you trace the timeline of history, it becomes clear that the Christianisation of Europe laid the fertile soil from which the major industrial revolutions would later spring forth. The First Industrial Revolution, which began in Britain in the late 18th century, was not birthed in a vacuum. It was preceded by centuries of Christian influence — the Reformation, the spread of biblical literacy, the establishment of ethical labor principles, and a culture that valued human dignity and creativity under God. Christianized nations had already built educational institutions, codified moral laws, and encouraged innovation as a means of stewarding God’s creation. The Protestant work ethic, rooted deeply in Christian teachings, inspired diligence, honesty, and a sense of calling in one’s vocation, all of which became the backbone of the industrial and technological advancements that changed the world. Thus, the booming civilization that history celebrates did not rise despite Christianity — it rose because of it.

The pattern continued with the Second and Third Industrial Revolutions. The Second Industrial Revolution, spanning the late 19th and early 20th centuries, saw a rapid acceleration in steel production, electricity, railways, and industrial manufacturing. Yet, these advancements did not happen in a vacuum. They were born in societies already saturated by the Christian worldview — a worldview that taught the dignity of labor, the stewardship of resources, and the moral imperative to improve life for the glory of God and the service of others. As for the Third Industrial Revolution — the digital and information age of the late 20th century — it thrived in environments where biblical principles like personal responsibility, freedom of thought, and stewardship were deeply ingrained.

Interestingly, as technology and economic growth skyrocketed, a distortion crept into the Christian faith: the extremities of the prosperity gospel. It promised material blessing without the cross of self-denial and stewardship. Yet, even this distortion indirectly testified to the fact that Christianity had become so deeply associated with advancement and success that people began twisting its message to seek the fruit without the root. The truth is, every major boom in civilization sat on the foundation of a biblical ethic — a high regard for work, innovation, justice, and human value. Strip away these roots, and the towering tree of prosperity would eventually collapse under its own weight, just as we are beginning to see in modern post-Christian societies.

    Nations as Inheritance

Nations do not rise by accident. They rise when their foundations are righteous. Although it doesn’t usually happen suddenly, it’s only a matter of time until an unrighteous nation tumbles, never to rise again. It happened to Babylon. It happened to the Roman Empire. It happened to Medo-Persia. There’s only one way to build a lasting foundation, even at the national level. The Gospel does not only save souls—it builds nations. When Scripture becomes the blueprint, civilisation follows. The Church must not withdraw from culture; it must shape it. The Christianisation of continents is not merely history—it is prophecy being fulfilled. Jesus said, “Go and disciple nations.” Not just individuals. Nations.

So as we look ahead, let us not separate evangelism from transformation. Where Christ is Lord, society is blessed.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” — Psalm 33:12

  • Trusting God in the Process Even When It Doesn’t Make Sense

Earlier this week, God has been putting it on my heart to write about trusting the process and hoping against hope. So that is what I’m going to share with you. I’m going to give examples for you to realize that you’re actually on the right track. We are called believers, not feelers. There are going to be seasons where everything is going to feel like it’s not in the right place but you are actually on the right track and you are in good company because most of the people you even know in Scriptures were on this exact path.

The first person I would like to point to is that one precious believer during the time of Jesus who saw Him being beaten mercilessly and was looking from afar, praying sincerely for His rescue. However, God did not answer that prayer the way the person wanted because He had a bigger, eternal plan.

    The Bigger Picture

That person is not mentioned in Scriptures but there was definitely somebody there who was praying to God that “Oh God, this guy is actually righteous. He’s holy, there’s nothing wrong that He has done. He has been doing good for as long as I have known Him. Please save Him”. He saw Jesus go through all the brutality, carry the cross, and die on the cross. He continued, “God, this is the right time to show up. If you show up right now, everybody will believe that you actually sent Him.”

He must have continued, “God, let Him just mysteriously come off the Cross and then, you know, be in white clothing and say that, ‘Yes, it is true, I am actually from God’. Oh oh God, please answer this prayer.” It was a genuine, sincere prayer to actually save somebody. The person saw how brokenhearted Mary was and was like, “Oh God, look at this mother. What have they done to deserve this? Even people as wicked as Barabbas have been set free. If you’ve done it for Barabbas, please do it for Jesus.”

Trust God in the Darkness what He Said in the Light

But you know what? That prayer went unanswered. In fact, that day Jesus was buried. The following day there was no noise whatsoever. It was like a normal day. No show, no sign, nothing. So what the person would say is, “oh God, so Jesus is actually dead? So that is all? God, I don’t understand.” God expected that person to trust Him in the process because how you want it to go is not better than how God wants it to go.

Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane also asked God if there’s another way He could do it without drinking the cup of God’s wrath. That notwithstanding, God has His way of how things should go. Sometimes it’s very difficult to explain the entire process to somebody who just does not just feel how the thing should go. So God may not explain so much to you because he has already given you a Word. You need to trust God in the darkness what he told you in the light. He expects that you hold on to the Word because His Word must test you. That’s why he told you when the skies were blue before the days where there will be no sunshine.

You need to trust Him — what He said when your mind was straight — now that everything looks confusing and clumsy and you want a sign and want God to explain. Whatever He says now, you actually won’t understand. You will say, “but God, You are omnipotent. You can do all things, so why don’t You just do it now? God, You know all things, so why are You allowing this to happen?”

That is where we will try to blackmail Him. So He has taught every one of us to trust Him in darkness what He told us in the light. The reason why God did not answer that man is because he had a bigger, better plan. It was not about showing Himself strong in the midst of just those few people who had gathered. No. It was a transgenerational agenda. It was an eternal script that He will raise up from the dead and conquer death. A bigger and greater purpose.

    Painful but Necessary

Even though you have good intentions and genuine reasons, believe you me, God’s plans are better. Every time we subject ourselves to God’s Will, we expect everything to go well. But how God orchestrates things is certainly not how we think it should be because with God, Romans 8:17, if we share in His sufferings, we share in His glory.

At the end of the day, you will stand somewhere and share your testimony. People will not understand what you went through because you will even say it in some simple plain words. You will not look like what you’ve been through. But trust me, everybody who has walked with God has gone through the process. At the end of the day, you will also be glad God took you through the process.

The process is painful but necessary. It’s very necessary but it’s still painful. It’s painful. It does not make sense to the human mind but that is God’s agenda for you. He even prunes those who bear much fruit so they will bear more fruit. It’s not shameful to admit that it’s painful because the Bible says “no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it”.

Joseph’s Thirteen-Year Preparation for Eighty Years of Glory

Look at Joseph. God gave him a wonderful dream of dominion but from that day onwards, everything went downhill for 13 years straight — betrayal, slavery, false accusation, imprisonment. He went from being hated by his brothers to being thrown into a pit. He was sold into slavery by his own brothers while God watched on. He was supposed to live as a slave till he died. Then Potiphar’s wife made matters even worse. He was thrown into prison for life. Yet, God was emptying Joseph of all pride and childishness.

If Joseph had skipped the process, he would have carried immaturity to the palace and brought shame to the God who lifted him. But through suffering, God moulded him so that when he finally rose to power at 30 years old, he reigned wisely for 80 years. Jesus also suffered for a few hours, but now He is seated at the right hand of the Father, with all authority in Heaven and on earth. See, this season won’t last forever, and your glory days will far outweigh the circumstances. Indeed, the sufferings of this present time cannot be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us (Romans 8:18).

Let me show you what it means for everything to work together for our good. It wasn’t God’s Will that you’ll be in the circumstances that you are in but He will use the circumstance as a healthy tool to shape you into what He wants you to be. All things (the good, the bad, the beautiful and the ugly) will work together for good. What good? It’s not referring to the end of a Nigeria movie where all your enemies die and you end up as rich nigga.

The good of God is explained in the next verse: “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son”. God foreknew you and your story and predestined it to end as a way of conforming you to be more like Christ. This is what He wants to achieve at the end of the day with everything He allows you to go through, provided you continue to surrender to His Will regardless of the circumstances.

When everything is going opposite to what God promised, trust is crucial. Psalm 25:3 says, “No one who trusts in You will ever be disgraced.” The process might be slow, confusing, and painful, but God comes through always. Trust is not based on sight; it is based on the unchanging nature of God. It’s about believing His character even when you don’t see His hand.

Trust the Doctor — Even If You Don’t Understand the Surgery

Look at Abraham. God promised him descendants as numerous as the stars, yet he waited 25 years for just one child. Why? Because it wasn’t about just having Isaac, it was about becoming the father of many nations. It was about making him a blessing and giving Abraham a name that would echo through all generations. Since Abraham’s generation till now, every generation that has come to earth knows about Abraham. He’s more famous than all of the people who go to the devil for fame. Today, Jews, Christians, and Muslims all trace their faith back to Abraham. God indeed gave him a great name and yet, during his lifetime, barely did anyone know him because he was a nomad on the Promise Land.

One challenge of our generation is that we have not been properly taught about the necessity of process. We are conditioned for quick results because we live in the era of instant gratification but in the Kingdom of God, endurance is key. Nobody today would want to wait 25 years like Abraham did, yet greatness demands patience. You should know that if God is disciplining us, it’s because we are not bastards. Process is not punishment — it is preparation. So yes, you are actually on the right track. You are in a good process. As long as you are going through this, it shows that God is killing certain things in you that will be a disadvantage to you in the coming seasons.

When God is working on you, it’s like a painful surgery. Until this scrutiny – this surgery – is done, He will not want you to get up from the hospital bed. Even though the surgery is painful, it is definitely necessary. If the Doctor tried to explain every detail of the surgery process, you would run away. That’s why He asks for trust. If you knew how long some seasons would last, you would give up today. But God has good plans for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust Him even when nothing makes sense. Trust Him when the darkness is thick. Trust Him because He is good, and His plans are far better than anything you could orchestrate for yourself. Stay the course. God is faithful. He has a track record in these matters; you are not the first.

You need to trust that yes, He has your best intentions at heart and He has plans of good, not of evil, and He will bring you to an expected end come what may. I hope that this has been a blessing to you ❣️

  • 30 Prophecies Jesus Fulfilled in 3 Days

  • Was Jesus Separated from the Father on the Cross?

At the very heart of the Christian faith lies the death of Jesus Christ — the greatest act of sacrifice, love, and justice history has ever known. However, one statement Jesus made on the Cross has been tremendously misunderstood and misinterpreted because of lack of doctrine. After this study, you will realise why the emphasis of the Spirit this Easter is on doctrine. When we don’t know the voice of Scripture, we will pick a detail and ignorantly misinterpret it out of the bigger picture and not know how dangerous it is. Was Jesus separated from the Father on the Cross? This question is often provoked by Jesus’ harrowing cry:

“My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?”
    Matthew 27:46 / Mark 15:34

Some have taught that in that moment, the Father turned away from the Son. The Father could not look at His Son because He was so filthy from carrying the sins of the whole world. He separated from Him temporarily, especially the humanity aspect of Jesus. For the first time in history, Jesus suffered rejection from the Father. From forsook to abandon to separated, but is that what Scripture really reveals? Let’s carefully journey through this question under three clearly established biblical doctrines.

    God is One

Before facing the brutality of the Cross, Jesus made this unshakable statement:

“Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.” — John 16:32

Even as betrayal loomed and death approached, Christ affirmed His confidence in the Father’s ever-present oneness. This unity wasn’t temporary — it was, and is, eternal and indivisible.

If Jesus cannot be separated from God, why did He say that His God has forsaken Him? Jesus was pointing out by Himself that His sufferings and pain were not random; it was prophesied that the Messiah will have to go through it all to fulfil all righteousness. He was quoting Psalm 22:1, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” He was not declaring a divine divorce — Before 1227, there were no chapters and verses in Scriptures. Because the Bible was memorized in Jewish custom, immediately you mentioned the first verse, you were reminding them of the entire chapter. Jesus was showing them that Psalm 22 is a Messianic Psalm whose biblical details pertained to Him right now on the Cross. Read Psalm 22. Inasmuch as the first verse was asking why God has forsaken him, it clearly shows severally that He wasn’t forsaken at all:

“For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; nor has He hidden His face from him; but when he cried to Him, He heard.” — Psalm 22:24

But Daniel, this explanation you are giving is too long and sounds too technical. Biblical doctrine has established without fail that God is One. Thus, all Scripture ought to be interpreted from that light. Besides, if God the Son could be separated from God the Father, why will the Son now commit His Spirit to Him while still on the Cross? The final moments affirm this:

    The Triune Work of Redemption

Just like in creation, redemption was also the work of the Triune God. God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit had distinct roles to play. Thus, the Cross was not a moment of divine division — it was the greatest demonstration of the Trinity of the Godhead at work to redeem humanity and reconcile them into divinity.

“Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God…” — Hebrews 9:14

The Son, through the Holy Spirit, offered Himself to the Father. Notice — Father, Son, and Spirit — all actively and harmoniously involved in the work of redemption.

Even as Jesus bore the full weight of sin, “In Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form (Colossians 2:9). God was not absent. In fact:

“God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them.” — 2 Corinthians 5:19

Notice — not “God was separated from Christ,” but God was in Christ. It cannot get clearer than this. The Father didn’t abandon the Son; He was actively present in Him, reconciling humanity to Himself. The Son was not alone on the Cross. The Spirit strengthened Him, the Father was with Him, and redemption was fully accomplished through perfect divine harmony.

Why is it Important to Know This?

The idea that the Father turned His face away from Jesus is not only unsupported by Scripture — it is theologically dangerous. We just took one harmless verse out of context and read exaggerated meanings into it, not knowing how harmful it is to the overall framework of Scripture. Notice how i didn’t explain intellectually; I used Scripture to explain Scripture. Now, show me just one verse that says that Jesus was separated from the Father on the Cross? So you see how false doctrines are innocently yet dangerously formed?

This false doctrine is actually not new at all. It leans toward Nestorianism, an early heresy condemned by the Church, which dangerously divided Jesus’ humanity from His divinity. If the Father forsook the Son, it implies a fracture in the eternal Trinity — something that cannot happen.
God is eternally one, indivisible in essence, nature, and being. To say there was separation is to say Jesus stopped being God for a moment. To say there’s a separation is to say there’s a difference between the human Jesus who suffered separation and the Christ who is God. All are doctrinally wrong and dangerous. Have you seen how one exaggerated explanation of one verse can cause a serious doctrinal error condemned and contrary to Scripture?

This is one of the heresies the devil perpetuates in literally every generation because it affects two fundamental aspects of Christianity; the humanity of Jesus and the divinity of Jesus. This forms part of the essentials of biblical doctrine and if you don’t believe rightly, you are not to be even considered a believer. You ought to believe that Jesus is both fully human and fully God, that there is one God, and that there is no separation between Jesus (the human) and Christ (the Lord). We should never in any way try to separate Jesus and Christ. He is literally the same person, fully human and fully God.

Believing in a moment of separation also dangerously portrays a God divided at the hour of salvation. Yet He said “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5). If this is His promise to us, how much more was it true for His only begotten Son, who He is eternally one with? The Cross was not God punishing an innocent Jesus while turning away — it was God in Christ, fully present, bearing our sins, conquering death, and reconciling us to Himself. Let us not use the Cross, the place of reconciliation of divinity with humanity as a place where divinity was separated. That’s heresy.

The Cross : The Altar of Reconciliation

The Cross was not a moment of abandonment — it was the climax of eternal unity. Yes, Jesus felt the crushing weight of sin.Yes, He endured the agony of death that humanity deserved. Yet, He was never separated from the Father. The Father was in Him.
The Spirit upheld Him, and God accomplished the greatest act of love and justice ever witnessed in history. As believers, we rest confidently in this unbroken truth: “God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.” — 2 Corinthians 5:19

We have been given this same ministry of reconciliation, for those who were far have been brought near by the Blood. I have been committed with the Word of Reconciliation. I implore you: be reconciled with God!

  • Line Upon Line, Precept Upon Precept

Proverbs 23:10 CEV says “Don’t move a boundary marker…”.Just like in Proverbs 22:28, we are advised not to remove an old boundary marker set up by our ancestors. It is also given in the Law of Moses as a commandment. Let’s look for the precept.

    Precept Upon Precept

One difference between a commandment and a precept is that a commandment tells what to do and not do while a precept tells you why. There’s an underlying precept behind every commandment God has ever given. Once you understand the precept, you will understand perfectly why God placed such a commandment there to protect us.

This verse can easily be misunderstood to support African Traditional Religious beliefs. “We don’t throw away the traditions of our fathers”, they say. However, this precept obviously refers to the ones our ancestors set via the counsel of God; line upon line, precept upon precept.

Every other foundation stone that wasn’t set up by God needs to be uprooted. That includes the traditions of men and obviously the structures of evil. However, the things of God are built from generation to generation. It is a huge error for a new generation to show up and condemn everything the older generations have done. They will fail miserably.

For instance, offerings to God have been done since the days of Abel. It has undergone various practices but the principle has always remained the same; “when you come before the King, come with an offering”. A young pastor cannot now say he has cancelled offerings in his church. You don’t know what you are talking about. Yet, these things happen because the newer generation don’t know why, metaphorically speaking, an old boundary marker was set up.

    Line Upon Line

Truth is One, but not all truths are the same. Some truths are weightier than others. Therefore, it is necessary what we emphasize. The truth is One, but within Truth, there’s an order. This order of Truth is as important as the entire Truth. For example, material prosperity is important but not as important as salvation. Therefore, if prosperity becomes the foundation upon which salvation is built, the essence of the Truth of both salvation and prosperity is lost.

Always remember that there’s no bigger revelation than the Cross, for every new revelation emanates from there. The Truth must be laid brick by brick, precept upon precept; built on the right solid foundation. Otherwise, any higher revelation would rather destroy us and lead us astray rather than take us deeper. Sometimes the deceit is in making the minor a major. When we stick with the Spirit of Truth, He will help us to keep the main thing the main thing. Line Upon Line; there is a structure to these things.

    Doctrinal Foundations

There is no need to invent the wheel. All the fundamentals in every field have been established, even in science. Yet, in all Christian history, the Charismatic movement has the weakest grab of doctrines. We’ll rather invent new dance moves. This is sad. The LORD will never build beyond the height our foundations can support. A doctrine like the Trinity took the church about 600 years to fully solidify. Study it. Don’t come and destroy it by trying to set up a new foundation.

Every generation builds upon what God made available and possible to the previous. That means what is possible today wouldn’t have been possible without the fathers who came before you. Add your line to the previous lines. Keep the story going. It didn’t start with you. Are you telling us that 2000 years of Christians missed it and you are now discovering a new way? You are on the path of an antichrist if you begin to host such an idea. Don’t allow the devil to use you. There is not going to be a new Gospel. Every new revelation is based on the foundation that has already been laid. It will never be something totally new altogether.

This is the Easter; the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus. This is the foundation of it all. Make sure that such a season as this, you have a Bible Study concerning these matters. This is literally the foundation upon which everything else was built. Take this advice from an architect; the deeper the depth, the higher the height. If we keep on exploring the foundation set by Jesus with the Spirit of Truth, He will lead us into all Truth. Once you are building on a solid foundation, our house will stand firm against every foreign wind of doctrine.

    Selah!

  • The Jehoshaphat Strategy: Warfare Strategies of the Kingdom of God

One of the things that brings utmost confusion to the camp of the enemy is when they surround you with problems and yet you praise God. Our worship is a weapon. Our praise affirms victory. It is a pattern throughout Scriptures; Joshua, Gideon, Jehoshaphat. Who would have thought that a trumpet 🎺 is an instrument of warfare? Yet, 7 trumpets are blown in the book of Revelations to release the wrath of God. Let us particularly discuss this as a Jehoshaphat strategy so that we learn to stand still and see the salvation of the LORD.

    The Jehoshaphat Strategy

King Jehoshaphat was the fourth king of Judah when King Ahab and Jezebel ruled Israel. He lived at the time of Prophet Elisha as well. One day he woke up to hear that the Ammonites, Moabites and those at Mount Seir had joined forces and were about to launch a huge attack on Judah. To picture how devastating this is, their enemy was more than all the people in Judah, including women and children. They can wipe out this lineage of the Messiah, just as the devil tried through Haman during the time of Esther. It will shock you to know how many times the devil tried to prevent Jesus from being born.

We are always at war but there are particular heightened seasons of spiritual warfare. During those seasons, the enemy will mobilize substantial attacks against you. What do you do?  That’s the time people complain to God for failing to protect them enough. That’s not what Jehoshaphat did.  He sought the LORD. He fasted and asked all those involved (the people of Judah) to fast and seek the face of God. He gathered the people of Judah to seek help from God. No threats to God. No murmuring. No complains. No accusations towards God. It is senseless to blame the One you seek help from. The prayer of Jehosaphat was to remind God of His promise and purpose.

God is only obliged to answer prayers aligned to His promises, plans and purposes. One of such promises is that He doesn’t forsake those who seek Him (Psalm 9:10) and that we will seek Him and find Him if we seek Him with all our heart (Jer 29:13). Jehosaphat’s petition was to remind God that the present circumstances do not match His promised outcome. Therefore, God responded. The Spirit of God came upon Jahaziel and he prophesied. The Word of God came to remind His people that the battle is not against you; it is against Me. My friend, allow God to fight your battles. You are the apple of God’s eye. When the enemy touches you, He has touched God’s pupil.

God gave them a sign by revealing what the enemy had planned. Then God told them something very absurd to the human brain; “you don’t need to fight in this battle. Position yourself, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who is with you…”. We are more than conquerors because we are fighting in a war that God has won for us. Do you believe God’s Word? Put yourself in their shoes and see. If you believed in God’s Word, you wouldn’t have been so anxious about your problems. All you need is one Word from the LORD; you will understand that He is with you. The battle is yours to fight and His to win, and He already won. Fight from victory.

    It is so easy to trust God after He has done it. What He wants you to do is to trust Him even before you see any sign of victory. Jehosaphat and the people of Judah rose up early the following day and Jehoshaphat encouraged the people in some of the most famous words from Scripture;

    II Chronicles 20:20
“…Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”

Now this is where the Jehoshaphat Strategy comes in. After consulting with the people, the strategy was to sing to the LORD en route to the battlefield. Mind you, it wasn’t a direct command from God like in the case of Joshua; it was an act of faith based on the Word of God.

Things are not going as planned? Praise God. It looks like your prayers are not being answered? Praise God! It seems the prophecy is delaying? Praise God! You don’t know what to do anymore? Praise God! God has promised you victory? Praise God en route to your victory. The Bible tells us to give thanks to God in all things because it is the Will of God. The circumstances may not be God’s Will but your response should always be. One thing the kingdom of darkness is incapable of is praising God. Praise is the antidote for pride. Stop complaining. Stop murmuring. Stop threatening God. Stop threatening Him to prove Himself otherwise you will stop believing in Him. Who are you? He was God before you existed and will be God regardless of your outcome. Stop talking to God like He is the problem.

When the spirit of anxiety, fear, dismay and disdain attack you long before the real battle begins, lift up your praise. Praise actually confuses the enemy. Remember that the devil started complaining in Heaven where there is only Glory but you are praising God where there is gloom. It doesn’t make sense but do it anyway. Show up on the battlefield with your weapon of praise. Let your Judah go first. The enemy will be so confused by your response, and that is when you will see the salvation of the LORD. He will fight your battles for you. Praise God as if He has already done it before He actually does it. That shows that you actually believe in God. We live in time and He is eternal, all-knowing and all-powerful. If He says He has taken care of it, believe Him. Praise God! This is how you enter rest on all sides.

  • The Esther Strategy: Warfare Strategies of the Kingdom of God

In spiritual warfare, the battle is often deeper than the enemy we see—it is embedded in systems, decrees, and structures that outlive individuals. The Esther Strategy is not just about overcoming visible enemies; it is about dismantling the very systems that empower them and ensuring that righteousness is firmly established in places of influence.

It is easy to make the mistake of focusing on personalities rather than the systems that make those personalities powerful. Haman was an individual, but his decree remained in force even after his death. King Xerxes was not the enemy—he was the gatekeeper, the one with the legal authority to make binding decisions. Understanding the role of gatekeepers is crucial. Let’s delve in!

Influence Is a Responsibility, Not a Luxury

When trouble arises in a territory where you have influence, you cannot afford to sit back and assume it will not affect you. If a problem keeps burdening you, it is a sign that you are part of its solution. You have more responsibility than you think. Mordecai’s warning to Esther was clear:

“Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish.” (Esther 4:13-14)

We should not assume that because the battle is not directed at us personally, we have no role to play. But when God gives you access to power, it is not for self-preservation—it is for kingdom advancement. Esther understood this and acted. At first, she may have been embarrassed by Mordecai but when she understood that she was in that position for such a time, she rose in the power of God’s might. She did not pray against the king. She did not see King Xerxes as the enemy. She understood that the real enemy was Haman, and more importantly, it is the decree that gave him power.

God has placed you in a strategic position to take action to solve a problem, so are you complaining that someone else should do something about it? Stop giving excuses. Stand in the gap and intercede. Mordecai saw that what Esther said as an excuse although she could literally die by the action she was about to take. “Go to the king, Esther. You were born for such a time as this”. Another thing to note; don’t just go in your intellect. Seek the face of God in fervent prayers before showing up at the round table of decisions. Selah!

    Gatekeepers Are Not the Enemy

One of the mistakes we can make is praying against kings, rulers, and people in authority without understanding their role as gatekeepers. Unless otherwise instructed by God, don’t pray against leaders. No! Don’t pray against the one who is meant to promote you and show you favour.

    • Nehemiah did not pray against the king—he sought the king’s favour.
    • Joseph did not pray against Pharaoh—he became indispensable to him.
    • Daniel did not pray against Nebuchadnezzar—he influenced him to acknowledge the Most High God.

It was the same in Esther’s case. King Xerxes was neither a godly man nor an enemy. He was simply a legal authority recognized by both the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. Whoever influenced him could determine the fate of God’s people. This is why believers in positions of influence must be wise. If God has given you access to the ear of a leader, it is not for your personal gain. You are positioned to exert godly influence on the decision-making process of that leader.

Haman May Be Dead, but His Decree Still Lives

We rejoice when an evil ruler falls but we fail to realize that systems outlive people. The assassination of Osama Bin Laden did not automatically end terrorism. Killing witches in your family does not automatically break generational curses. Evil is systemic, and systems operate through laws, decrees, and structures that persist beyond individuals. The evil the enemy is perpetuating is mostly on a legal basis.

Haman was executed, but his decree to exterminate the Jews remained in force. Esther had to return to the king, not just to celebrate Haman’s downfall, but to reverse his decree by passing a new one. This is where many fail. We fight battles halfway. We pray against the overthrow of enemies but do not establish righteous systems in their place. If you only remove an evil leader but do not raise righteous ones to replace them, you have done nothing. It is like casting out a demon from someone who is demon-possessed and not filling the person with the Holy Spirit. The situation will get worse soon.

This is the danger in spiritual warfare. Don’t just fight what Haman created; fight what created Haman. The LGBTQ agenda, for example, is currently being stripped away in some places but if believers do not relentlessly ensure that righteousness is firmly established, the enemy will come back with greater force when the next administration takes power. This is called the retaliation of the enemy, which is often seven times more severe.

The Esther Strategy demands that we dismantle evil, reverse its decrees, and establish righteousness so that evil cannot rise again immediately or permanently.

    Promote Mordecai

    Victory is not complete until:

    1. Haman is removed – The immediate threat is neutralized.
    2. Haman’s decree is revoked – The legal basis for oppression is overturned.
    3. Mordecai is promoted – Righteousness is established to secure the future.

This is how spiritual and political victories are sustained. It is not enough to fight battles; we must build structures that prevent the enemy’s swift return. In modern governance, we see the same principle. When an ungodly leader is removed from power, the work is not finished. We must ensure that righteous policies, laws, and people take their place—otherwise, we are only delaying a greater crisis.

Believers who have access to influence must be bold in their demands. Esther was hesitant at first but when she realized the urgency, she used her full authority. She did not ask for small favours. She demanded the complete dismantling of Haman’s plans and the establishment of new laws that favoured her people. This is what we must do today. The battle is not just about personal survival but about ensuring that righteousness is deeply rooted in the system.

    The Call to Strategic Warfare

The Esther Strategy is a call to wisdom, boldness, and completeness in warfare. It is not about emotional reactions but strategic action.

✔ If you are in a position of any form of influence, do not be passive. Use your influence to reverse evil and establish righteousness.
✔ If an evil system exists, do not stop at bringing down individuals. Overturn the decrees that empower them.
✔ If victory is won, do not celebrate too early. Raise godly successors who will ensure lasting change.

This is what Esther did, and this is what every believer must learn. Warfare is not just about winning battles—it is about establishing dominion. Dominion comes when we do not just eliminate evil, but ensure that righteousness takes its place. This is what it means to truly subdue the enemy.

  • Warfare Strategies of the Kingdom of God II

Spiritual warfare is not God vs the devil. The devil does not even have access to the Highest Heaven to even face God. Spiritual warfare is not angels vs demons as we humans assist them. No! We are the ones on the battlefield. Spiritual warfare is the war for the hearts of men. The fate of the devil and all his demons have already been determined. It is yours that is yet to be determined; it will be determined by the choices you make here on earth. Although Jesus’ death and resurrection meant that the souls of all men in general was not eternally lost, the enemy has lost the war but has still won some battles. He has been successful in deceiving many men, using their God-given gifts to his advantage and corrupting them so they share the same fate as him eternally.

So don’t think the devil is directly fighting God. No! He’s indirectly fighting God by directly fighting you. The earlier you get used to the idea that you are in a war, in an active battlefield, the better. It is not that good and evil are fighting on their own somewhere in the spiritual realm and it just so happens to affect you. No! You are the one fighting because the fight is about you. Have it at the back of your mind. Nonetheless, you are not fighting for victory but from victory already secured by Christ. The fact that the warfare is centered on men does not mean it’s a physical wrestle with carnal weapons. If you fight on your own, you will lose.

    Our victory was secured in Christ. Satan has built a counterfeit kingdom system that has made it impossible for any man to win against him. You can try; you will just be amongst the many men who tried with their own strength and failed. This is why this series is very necessary. It is meant to teach us how God raised men to fight and overcome. These men waxed strong, secured territories, gained ground, slain giants and conquered cities for the people of God. Of course, theirs was a physical battle with physical enemies but the precepts and principles still apply. Let’s continue the David strategy from last week;

    Speed

“He makes me feel like the feet of deer…”. Some battles are won by fleeing. That is how sexual immorality is won. I don’t know why Christians find it perplexing when God tells them to flee from something. “Flee from that relationship”. “Flee from this town”. Yet we ask, “Isn’t God all-powerful?”. The fact that you are fleeing is not for God; it is for you. You are not wiser than God, are you? That notwithstanding, this is not the only area we need speed. Speed is not so we skip the process. Speed is so we make the most of the time. In warfare, many are not aware of the retaliation of the enemy. Don’t give the enemy a chance to recoup soon and come after your loot. Pursue and overtake! When the Philistines saw that Goliath was dead, they fled. However, the children of Israel did not just laugh at them and go home. No! They pursued them. Speed is grabbing a kairos moment and leaving no stone unturned.

    Stature

“…and sets me on my high places”. In spiritual warfare, you fight at the level of your stature. The easiest way to die is to fight an enemy with a higher rank. Although you sit far above principalities and powers with Christ Jesus, you need to grow in stature. It’s just like a prince may sit far above in a kingdom but does not have the fighting ability for a war. Thus, he will need to be prepared. This is another reason why God deploys speed. Speed to set you on your high places. We take territories by treading upon high places (Deut 33:29). The high places are rightfully yours but it won’t come without a fight. At the end of the day, your elevation is justified because it matches your level of stature. I have noticed God sometimes keeps men below their level of stature for long so that when He finally elevates them, they are able to sustain their new level. This is how he sets you permanently. David was fighting lions and bears in private to increase in stature. When his fame grew abroad with the defeat of Goliath, David was able to sustain the level he was promoted to and won every battle he was sent to. Don’t rush. Don’t look for status when you don’t have stature.

    Training

“He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze”. Bows are typically made of wood and decorated with metal. A bow of bronze was never an actual weapon that existed. It was referring to God training us for the days of calamity where we are faced with humanly impossible situations. This is why God will not allow the people of Israel to enter the Promised Land for 40 years although they could use 11 days (Deut 1:2-3). On a day when your feet may fail, when you have no weapons in hand, can you make war/combat with your hands? There’s a reason why God wants to train your flesh now that no one really knows you. It is because there are battles awaiting you on the Promised Land. The enemy is defeated but won’t give up without a fight. Allow God to train you vehemently so you don’t fail Him on the day of calamity. Good character is at the foundation of great exploits. The devil will offer you sin on a silver platter one day; you will reject it without hesitation because you are well-trained. 1 Samuel 18:14 says “David behaved wisely in all his ways, and the LORD was with him”.

✔ For by You I can run against a troop – Courage

✔ By my God I can leap over a wall – Agility

✔ It is God who arms me with strength – Strength

✔ He makes my feet like the feet of deer – Speed

✔ and sets me on my high places – Stature

✔ He teaches my hands to make war – Training

✔  You have also given me the shield of your salvation
