The False Gospel of HyperGrace

There is a kind of deception that has lured this generation into fervent deception. This generation thinks they understand Grace more than all the preceding generations by making it look like Grace only began to take fruit in the 21st century. The Mystery of Comparison: Spiritual Ranking

Last week, we talked about the only way to compare yourself wisely; by comparing your current state to the full stature of Christ. That is God’s ultimate purpose of all of us individually and cooperately. Even naturally, we aren’t all on the same rank. As humans, we rank higher than all living things on earth. […]

When we think about how we are doing compared to ourselves, it can make us feel a lot of things. Sometimes, we worry about the future and get anxious. We think about all the things we want to do and worry we’re not good enough. Other times, we look back at what we’ve already done […]

The Mystery of Comparison II

In the last post, I emphatically stated that when something is to lose its relevance, gain momentum, gain ground, or even shift suddenly; for us to perceive it is based on comparison. Without comparison, not only will our understanding be fragmented, but our perception will be null. What is that all about? Discernment. Discernment Discernment […]
The Mystery of Comparison

Comparison has been cast negatively, but rather than avoiding it, we must learn to harness it, since it underpins our learning and understanding through metaphors and scale. True measurement, however, lies in selecting the correct yardstick. God’s judgment incorporates this principle, assessing us individually against a personal and divine standard, not in comparison to others, and rewards us accordingly. This encourages us to measure ourselves by what God entrusts to us in each life season.
