Epitome of God’s Love: Your Love Runs Wild for Me – by Morgina Arku

Morgina Arku
Epitome of God’s Love

He has made me; an epitome of God’s Love. “…not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins”. 1 John 4:10

Growing up as a child, I hadn’t explored much about God and His Love for me. My journey as a Christian was a puzzle with missing pieces, and understanding what God’s Love meant seemed like the biggest mystery. Nonetheless, from the very beginning of my life, every thread of God’s Love was carefully woven to protect me. He had already wrapped His Love around me like a warm comforting blanket.

One day, during my school days at the university, I was in my hostel with my friends and a stranger knocked at my door to share the word of God with us. This stranger with a warm smile, shared stories about who God is and His Love and salvation for mankind. We listened and received the Word wholeheartedly, but before he left my room, he told me a message from God, “I should dwell my whole life on the Love of God”. I felt really touched after hearing such comforting words, and since then, these words have stuck with me till now.

I began to learn more about who God is and this wonderful Love message the stranger shared with me. From Bible reading, Christian stories and the teachings of my best friend, I got to understand I am God’s bride. His heart overflows with love for me. He knows me, He sees me, He cares for me. I am not just some random person that He occasionally remembers. He’s never too busy for me and I have his attention always. I am His beloved, the one He came to earth to redeem by paying the ultimate price. Intrigued, I realised God’s love has been manifesting in my everyday moments.

In the quiet mornings, He whispers words of encouragement, inspiring me to face the challenges of each new day with resilience and hope. In the bustling afternoons, His Love becomes a source of strength, empowering me to extend kindness and compassion to others. I experienced a profound peace that surpassed understanding, finding comfort in the assurance that God’s love was a constant presence. I began to see and feel the reckless Love that had been there all along. His words of Love and affirmation are a divine kiss upon my heart. The light of God’s Love illuminates the way, casting away shadows of doubt and fear, knowing that no storm could shake the foundation of God’s unwavering Love towards me.

As the chapters of my life continued to unfold, God’s Love overflowed, filling every void and fulfilling every need. Imperfections started melting away, leaving behind a perfect reflection of unconditional acceptance. I keep finding solace in prayer and reflection, deepening my connection with His Love. It was in these quiet moments that the overwhelming Love of God enveloped my heart. Despite the feelings of unworthiness, God’s Love acted as a cleansing river, washing away the stains of sin and with every step guided by this divine Love, I felt a sense of purpose and direction God has for my life.

Today is my birthday. I am a year older. Lord, I’m amazed at how far you’ve brought me. I believe as I step into this new age, new doors and paths will open. I am convinced that every detail of my life is continually woven together for your good, for I am your Lover who has been called to fulfil your designed purpose. He knew all about me before I was born and he destined me from the beginning to share the likeness of His Son”. (Romans 8: 28 -29). Dear Father, what you started in me, I know you will complete it from the inside out. Your love is shaping me. You are making me, and the enemy is afraid of what you are making me. Let your glory manifest in me from this day on. Happy Birthday to me.

Extend Compassion

“…speak evil of no one, be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.”
Titus 3:2 – 3 NKJV

When Kojo was young and full of Nigerian-movie scenarios, he couldn’t possibly fathom why married couples divorce. “I mean, if the two of you love each other”, he explained away, “I don’t see the reason why you should divorce”. He exclaimed, “just go on a vacation or something. The guy should buy her flowers and the girl should prepare him his favorite meal”.

A lot of us talk like that, especially concerning situations we’ve never been in ourselves. Truth is, it is easy to criticise a mistake you’re not part of. On the other hand, it is easy to give excuses to a flaw you find yourself in. So we find ourselves in a dilemma; being hard on others for not being perfect, yet explaining how it’s not really our fault when we are the ones who fall short.

Remember, Jesus said it is those who are merciful that shall receive mercy. It is the same standards you use to judge others that you’ll be judged by. It’s unnecessary to blame Adam for your demise after all what the second Adam did. Remember this: what you’re heavily judging others for, you’re going to meet a similar test in future. You may have forgotten what you said about the situation, but Jesus said He will judge us for every idle word we said.

If God could wait for you to come to your senses while you ate with the pigs, why are we not extending the compassion of God? Don’t be like the unforgiving debtor. God has been patient with you. Be patient with others. God has been merciful to you. Be merciful to others. God has been good to you. Be good to others. Extend Compassion.

Let me tell you a story;

A king decided to bring his accounts up to date with servants who had borrowed money from him. In the process, one of his debtors was brought in who owed him millions of dollars. He couldn’t pay, so his master ordered that he be sold—along with his wife, his children, and everything he owned—to pay the debt. “But the man fell down before his master and begged him, ‘Please, be patient with me, and I will pay it all.’ Then his master was filled with pity for him, and he released him and forgave his debt.

“But when the man left the king, he went to a fellow servant who owed him a few thousand dollars. He grabbed him by the throat and demanded instant payment. “His fellow servant fell down before him and begged for a little more time. ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it,’ he pleaded. But his creditor wouldn’t wait. He had the man arrested and put in prison until the debt could be paid in full. “When some of the other servants saw this, they were very upset. They went to the king and told him everything that had happened.

Then the king called in the man he had forgiven and said, ‘You evil servant! I forgave you that tremendous debt because you pleaded with me. Shouldn’t you have mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?’ Then the angry king sent the man to prison to be tortured until he had paid his entire debt.  “That’s what my heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters from your heart.” (Matthew 18:23-35 NLT‬)

No form of temptation is above you. What you are criticizing today may be something you’ll do even worse when you get such an opportunity in future. You never know. Have some compassion. Show mercy. Be an extension of God’s grace in someone’s life. Speak evil of no one. This is true wisdom.

I love you ❤️

The Mystery of Comfort: Thy Rod & Thy Staff

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Psalms 23:4 NKJV

This world is unfair and “unfair” is an understatement. The wicked succeed, the righteous suffer, the rich steal from the poor, and evil still persists. Everything looks chaotic. Your head aches whenever you think in that direction. You don’t even know what to do with your life anymore.

You are not alone. Almost everyone has reached that stage before. You may even be there right now. In fact, you’ve been there all your life and it’s starting to feel permanent. However, realise the importance of hope. There’s a reason why hope made it to the finals (hope, faith and love in 1 Corinthians 13:13). Whenever there’s invisible burdens and anxieties, it’s simply the absence of hope. If there’s no hope that your hard work will pay off, why the need for hard work, etc?

As aforementioned, the unrealized prescription to this dilemma is COMFORT. The NLT version of the verse says, “When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.” Let God comfort you. Let Him teach you that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us.

You really need Comfort so go to God, the source of all comfort as 2 Corinthians 1:3 says.

And when I was burdened with worries, you comforted me and made me feel secure.

Psalms 94:19 CEV

Sometimes, life becomes overwhelming. We begin to worry about life’s decisions. It’s not a lack of information we may even be suffering from. We may know all of God’s promises but we are still worried if we are making the best decisions for our lives. You may think you need more money to solve all your problems but all the problems of another man are as a result of their money. What you may lack is Comfort. I know you are in a very rough storm but there is a man in your boat whose Words the winds and the sea obey.

David said, “Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for Thou art with me. Thy rod and their staff, they COMFORT me”. Have you cared to find out what David ever meant? The rod is, of course, an instrument of authority and correction. The staff, on the other hand, is an instrument of compassion.

The staff guides the sheep along a dangerous, unfamiliar, difficult path. The shepherd presses the staff against the side of the sheep and guides it, assuring the animal of its proper path because some sheep will never tread an unfamiliar route. The rod protects you from wild prey. The staff is also used to guide a newborn to its mother when they are separated. Be it correction or guidance, these are spiritual instruments of Comfort.

So it’s Comfort you needed all along. Your comfort zone is the secret place of the Most High. His promises are sure. Trust His Word and you will be calm in the midst of calamity.

The Heart of Pharoah

There have been many instances of men throughout history who ruled the world as an antichrist. They epitomized the devil so much that men worshipped them as gods. The pharaohs of Egypt fell into that category. Not only did they rule the known world at the time, but they were worshipped as one of the many gods. A devil incarnate, if you will. Cain in his city, Nimrod in Babel, and Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon are men of that “calibre.”

Therefore, God, in his encounter with each of these men, replicated the prophetic degeneration the devil is bound to experience. It all began with how great these men became, encapsulated with self and pride. These men of evil were able to drive away the spirit of good and fight against the people of God with success. However, all were miscalculated by the evil one. A grievous miscalculation. God knows how to preserve His own.

It’s amazing that the God of justice still finds an unexplainable way to show grace. Evil deserves justice, but evil will be destroyed with grace and justice. For God’s Wrath is an exhibition of His Glory. They are not different; only distinct. In His Wrath, He administers grace. In His justice, He shows mercy. The more sin abounds, the more grace abounds. What is happening is a compounding of sin for the revelation of His Wrath. Selah!

God has never been in a hurry to punish evil. He is slow to anger. He exercises divine forbearance in punishing evil. No matter who evil is found in, God, first of all, gives a long rope of grace. What evil wants to do is for God to destroy everything. God rather chose to separate us from evil to pour out His full Wrath on evil. However, when one stays in evil for a long time, one gradually becomes one with evil until both entities are indistinguishable. On the broadway to becoming one with evil, God pours out His judgments as acts of love.

Pay close attention and make sure you understand! When you sin and God disciplines you, He loves you. He doesn’t want you to become one with sin. Oh yes, it is more susceptible to becoming one with evil in this world and age. God uses the inside-out approach. Evil uses the outside-in approach. Once evil makes its way into your heart, it begins to grow. God will discipline you out of love. He will punish you as a sign of mercy. For the first 5 plagues, God told Moses that Pharoah would harden his heart. For the last 5, God said He will harden Pharoah’s heart.

When you become one with evil and begin to multiply and deploy evil, God will arrest your heart. This is why the devil cannot repent even though God has the heart to forgive Him. What has happened is that God is the one who has hardened his heart so that he cannot repent. He is in the category of vessels prepared for destruction. Whether you are on the Lord’s side or not, at the end of the day, everything will become an avenue for His Glory.

And in the same way, although God has every right to unleash his anger and demonstrate his power, yet he is extremely patient with those who deserve wrath—vessels prepared for destruction.

Romans 9:22 TPT‬

The question now is, are there men that God has intentionally hardened their hearts? God hardens the hearts of men who have hardened their hearts. Once you exhaust the long rope He has given you and you have become one with evil, He will harden your heart to give Him the moral justification to pour out His full Wrath on you. If He doesn’t harden your heart and you cry out to Him for mercy amid His unleashed Wrath, He is so faithful that He will lavish you with Mercy. He will never overlook a contrite heart. He will never turn away a repented soul. Therefore, for you to serve the full measure of His Wrath, He hardens your heart beyond redemption.

Yes, He turned the Nile into blood to remind you of the injustice you caused when you shed innocent blood by commanding all Hebrew boys to be thrown into the river. You asked for forgiveness, and He took it away. In 9 plagues, God demonstrated that He is the One who controls the elements of nature, not the principalities of Egypt at the peak of their witchery. The presence of evil caused the degeneration of nature while still revealing the power of an Eternal God, the One who the devil thought he had shut out of the earth because there was no man to perceive God. 9 times Pharoah asked that the Wrath be taken away. 9 times He promised to obey God. 5 times He hardened his heart. 5 times God hardened his. When the final justice was administered, it was irreversible. For Pharoah, He bruised His son. In our case if we continue to live willingly in sin till we become one with evil, we bruise the Son again.

‭Romans 9:15-22 GNT‬
For he said to Moses, “I will have mercy on anyone I wish; I will take pity on anyone I wish.” So then, everything depends, not on what we humans want or do, but only on God’s mercy.  For the scripture says to the king of Egypt, “I made you king in order to use you to show my power and to spread my fame over the whole world.” ‭So then, God has mercy on anyone he wishes, and he makes stubborn anyone he wishes.

But one of you will say to me, “If this is so, how can God find fault with anyone? Who can resist God’s will?”  But who are you, my friend, to talk back to God? A clay pot does not ask the man who made it, “Why did you make me like this?” After all, the man who makes the pots has the right to use the clay as he wishes, and to make two pots from the same lump of clay, one for special occasions and the other for ordinary use.

And in the same way, although God has every right to unleash his anger and demonstrate his power, yet he is extremely patient with those who deserve wrath—vessels prepared for destruction.

The Other Reflection – by Gladys Kumi

It always had to do with whenever she spoke. There was an obstacle to overcome, to make way past. The fuss was about the SRC candidate who had won the election. It was an easy stream of communication where everybody threw whatever they thought in every direction. They impressed their minds in all assertiveness, to the other ends of the room; hitches never existed.

Expressing her presence wherever she would find herself, by talking, always seemed like such a conscious thing to do. It was conscious and calculative with the effort to launch herself. She had to come outside of her dimension of ease and push herself to the edges of discomfort. It was a rigorous exercise that rubbed frictionly with all abilities.

Heroically pushing against it did not in the least alleviate the tackle that ensuing talks always came with. There was the climb as sure as it could be.
It was not that there was a void of thoughts to express; a void of opinions, perceptions, and mindsets never existed. Her mind was bursting with them, and they were wound around the words the people spoke before she had to consider.

Assuming such a position would be precedent and make a new record, which would definitely be a new blaze of inspiration for upcoming women’ That was a definite kind of input. It couldn’t be voiced out more clearly..in her mind, as though that had been stringently made the object on which to make an impression. So there she was, having a lot and nothing to say about everything.

Personality dimension-wise, she observed at the end of many years, that there was no affinity that drew an inclination to remain quiet and no innate dislike to talking either. It reflected the other way in public: Her survey group leader said she was introverted, and her high schoolmates expressed to her that they understood she liked being quiet.

The truth is there was no strength in the launching pad for every ‘leap of faith’. It felt like every attempt was resting on thin ice, and that thin ice was worse off if it got broken. And then she would picture the dreadfulness of coming out wrong It hit her with such precision that it had to do with her image. The problem was one with how she saw herself.

The powder room certainly was an extension beyond conventional use for her, in settings like this. It was a slip-away to moments of mental ease, all unfolding in front of a mirror. She stood in front of it. For that split second, she persuaded herself to believe in all things extraordinary and
fully expected something out of the ordinary to flash before her eyes.

She therefore looked closely and curiously into it. Her reflection stared back with undiminished curiosity. She realized disappointed, that that was all there was to it. All that there was to it was seeing. As though that event has not been natural as far as the occurrences of nature would have it. Two persons. Staring and staring back. No, she was not satisfied, for she had subconsciously looked to find someone in the mirror.

She was instantly drawn to some words that flitted into her mind from nowhere, drawn by those words though they were too faint to have that power.
What did she think? What did she think about the reflection? There was a moment of silence, like the ones we may have with an audience of
people over a riveting issue, but this time her thoughts were standing still, looking for the answer to the question.

That was a new window being opened to her as she watched. There were none springing up—none to show that she had any reflective views or
beliefs about herself. She viewed that person through her mind’s eye, and it stared back, waiting for answers. She had left a space where there could be a positive buildup; it took away the strength, and where there was supposed to be, there was shakiness for every ‘leap of faith’. That person had not been created. It had been missing, a whole reflection-the Other Reflection.

The Teaching of Balaam

The Message of HyperGrace today is no message of Grace at all. It is the teaching of Balaam. Anyone who believes it will follow the footsteps of Balaam.

God is King, and He sits on the Throne. When God sits in the Courtroom of Heaven, He sits on the Throne of Grace. ‭Psalms 89:14 says “righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne”. The accuser of the brethren, literally meaning Satan, comes to accuse us daily. He uses the same laws of God but with a twist, since he is the father of lies. Imagine you just sin knowingly. The enemy immediately rushes into the court to make a case against you. The devil quotes the very Scripture you violated and questions the justice system of God on top of that. What does God do? Of course, God doesn’t care what the enemy has to say. But there are two options eitherway. A similar thing happened to Jeshua the High Priest. Let’s see what went on;

‭Zechariah 3:1-2, 4-5 NLT‬
[1] Then the angel showed me Jeshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord. The Accuser, Satan, was there at the angel’s right hand, making accusations against Jeshua. [2] And the Lord said to Satan, “I, the Lord, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.”[4] So the angel said to the others standing there, “Take off his filthy clothes.” And turning to Jeshua he said, “See, I have taken away your sins, and now I am giving you these fine new clothes.” [5] Then I said, “They should also place a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean priestly turban on his head and dressed him in new clothes while the angel of the Lord stood by.”

God showed him mercy. He rebuked the enemy with His Name, reminding Satan that Jeshua’s sin had already had its reparations. How? He tossed Jeshua into the fire of His Wrath and snatched Him out by His Mercy although He had sinned. Because God had exercised judgment on Jeshua Himself, Satan did not have the right to have him. God did not leave the filth on Jeshua, remember? He gave Him a new holy garment. Case closed. Literally! What happens if this session repeats itself multiple times because Joshua keeps on sinning? The day God decides to not show him mercy, that is doomsday. He will not only pour His Wrath on him but abandon him over to Satan.

‭Romans 1:24, 28 NLT‬
[24] So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. [28] Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done.

Abandoning one over to Satan is even a sign of mercy compared to enduring the Wrath of God. Like the curse of Cain, one becomes a wanderer. ‭1 Corinthians 5:5 NLT‬ says  “you must throw this man out and hand him over to Satan so that his sinful nature will be destroyed and he himself will be saved on the day the Lord returns.” Whether God will show mercy or abandon us to Satan, there is no formula to ascertain. ‭Romans 9:14-15 “Are we saying, then, that God was unfair? Of course not! For God said to Moses, “I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.”

Even in the living out of our Righteousness, we ought to plead for mercy. How much more when we sin? If you knew what sin does, you would fear God and depart from evil. God is just in whatever decision He chooses to make. To live in sin is dangerous. To live in sin and think grace will save you is a delusion. One thing that sin does is that it gives the kingdom of darkness bragging rights. ‭2 Samuel 12:14 AMP‬ says “because by this deed you have given [a great] opportunity to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme [Him], the son that is born to you shall certainly die.”

Our sin gives Satan the chance to talk nonsense in front of Almighty God in the Courtroom of Heaven. What the enemy is always trying to do is to commit the trickery of Balaam. Once he can convince us to sin, he will insult God with it and hope that God will remove His Hand of Mercy from our matter. Have you seen why we shouldn’t take sin lightly? Satan doesn’t have the fear of the LORD, and by living in sin we become more like Satan than like God. In fact, to outrightly sin is to deny Christ and give authority back to Satan as Adam and Eve did in the garden.

The False Gospel of HyperGrace

There is a kind of deception that has lured this generation into fervent deception. This generation thinks they understand Grace more than all the preceding generations by making it look like Grace only began to take fruit in the 21st century. The average Christian believes God would have smacked all of us dead like He used to do in the Old Testament had it not been for Grace. When Jesus died, we hadn’t sinned yet. Therefore, Jesus died for our past, present, and future sins. What I’ve just said is not necessarily false. It’s not even about what is being said. It’s about what it insinuates. Lies are 100% lies. Deception is a spectrum that can have as much as 99% truth and 1% lies.

We have reduced Grace to the message of sin in this generation. We don’t know Grace outside of the topic of sin anymore like other generations before us. Don’t get me wrong; God will forgive you for all your sins. God knows that. You know that. The devil knows that, and he will use it to his advantage. How many times have you casually sinned but didn’t fear because you knew Grace was available? One man said, “I prayed to God for a bike for so long, but He didn’t give it to me. So, I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness. ” That’s where the deception lies. This post is written out of love so we hate sin, never tolerate it or play around with it, thinking no harm is being caused because we would be forgiven. Let’s delve in;

Track Record

Jesus, when He became man, was touched with the feeling of our infirmities as Hebrews 4:15 says, yet without sin although He was in all points tempted as we are. That is His eternal track record. Yes, when you sin and God forgives you, your sins are blotted as if you never sinned. However, what you lost in all this sinning and being forgiven is the reward of obedience. Adam and Eve sinned and God forgave them. We never got to know what the reward for their obedience would be like. What we saw is the consequences of disobedience. Although they were forgiven, given grace by experiencing the law of substitution, and given clothing and a promise, a curse was still released. Although the Cross of Christ absorbs the sin and its accompanying curses, it does not offer us the lost reward for obedience.

The truth is that God will always reward obedience. Once you get to know what sin does, hate it. It sets you back several years, even. God can restore what you lost. What you lost is what you used to have before you sinned. However, there is something you never even got. It’s the reward of obedience. If you didn’t have it in the first place, it could not be restored. See, God will reward people’s track record. He will reward obedience. He will reward consistency. He will reward faithfulness. The question is, do you have a track record?

Spiritual Authority

There are places you will never reach in the realms of the Spirit with this kind of mindset. You will never know God beyond a certain level. Also, you will never be entrusted with a level of authority if you have not conquered your flesh. There are three major battles to fight and conquer; the flesh, the world and the devil. If you haven’t defeated the flesh, don’t think you’re any match for the spirit of the age and the god of this world. That is why the enemy wants you in this cycle of sin; Sin, repent, repeat. Once he has you there, you can never rise to the stature of your destiny. These are not even to be defeated once. It is continual warfare. A spiritual contention for the throne of your heart. That is why we are commanded to carry the cross daily.

If you have not defeated your “personal demons”, what makes you think you can overcome territorial demons? You haven’t won your personal battles and you want to take responsibility for people? You will subject them to the covering of the demons you haven’t defeated, for crying out loud. That is why pastors who haven’t overcome the spirit of lust have a synagogue of perpetual fornication and adultery. God will give you more grace to overcome but He will not give you grace to enter the next level as a sign of mercy. You fight battles at the level of your spiritual rank. If you are stuck in the same sin cycle, God will forgive you always but you are not growing. The enemy knows this and has done it to many people. You are just a statistic to him.

Future Judgement

The fact that God has forgiven you does not mean that there are no consequences. Galatians 6:7 says “Do not be deceived. God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap”. The more you sin, the more grace abounds. What is the purpose of the abounding grace? So that you have a stronger force to overcome the sin because the more you feed sin, the more it grows. Forgiven sins do not mean no accountability. It will shock you to know that one day, God will hold you accountable for every single thing He gave you, including the abounding grace to overcome sin.

Listen to the words of Jesus: ‭Matthew 11:21-22 NLT‬ [21] “What sorrow awaits you, Korazin and Bethsaida! For if the miracles I did in you had been done in wicked Tyre and Sidon, their people would have repented of their sins long ago, clothing themselves in burlap and throwing ashes on their heads to show their remorse. [22] I tell you, Tyre and Sidon will be better off on judgment day than you.

More grace equals more responsibility. To whom much is given, much is expected. Some generations did more with little. To think God will expect little from us with what He has given us is a fallacy. God has standards. High standards. Even though He has long-suffering, one day the iniquities of the Amorities will be complete. To every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Every sin has reparations even though it is forgiven. Selah!

‭1 Peter 4:17-18 NLT‬
[17] For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News? [18] And also, “If the righteous are barely saved, what will happen to godless sinners?”

‭Hebrews 10:26-29 NLT‬
[26] Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. [27] There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies. [28] For anyone who refused to obey the law of Moses was put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. [29] Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us.

I am also working on making it available on Amazon and even publishing it. I had wanted to make it free but who cherishes free things in our world today? It goes for only $1.00 worldwide.

The book is so good and I have to sit down and read it as if I’m not the one who wrote it. I wrote the book in the secret place and I can tell you for a fact that I didn’t know 50% of what I wrote before I actually typed them. The book already has a part 2 being prepared for later this year because the Holy Spirit wanted me to add the Love Covenant, a mystery from a well I have not even made time to assimilate. I know for sure that the final hardcopy of this book in future will have 3 ebooks released at different times.

The reason why I’m not pausing until the final hardcopy is made manifest is because truly, the well does not run dry. I can write every day for a year and still have fresh water from the river that flows from my belly. This is a kind of book you shouldn’t be in a hurry to finish reading. Like how I have been designed to write, I don’t write the “final words” for your understanding. I only scratch the surface, making very deep sentences that need meditation and drawing from the Holy Spirit to ascertain. I don’t explain everything into details. What I want to do is draw the reader into the Word so the Holy Spirit can take them on an adventure based on the revelation given.

Thus, I am not preparing a full meal. I am only given you the ingredients so you also cook with the chef. Otherwise, it just becomes garbage in, garbage out. It is not information. It is revelation that leads to transformation. It’s not meant to be “chewed and poured”. You are a participant, a partaker in the meal God wants to serve you. It, of course, doesn’t replace the Bible. It is fully based on Scripture as the Spirit kept bringing to memory the puzzle pieces in the Word. It will dramatically change your life, how you see God and how you see yourself. It will put a tremendous understanding in your spirit. People will hear you speak these mysteries and know you have the Spirit of Wisdom.

Although it is not a how-to book, act on the Word in the book. Knowing so much about the secret place and not going there produces religion. Revelation that does not lead to transformation becomes information that leads to religion. That’s it! I can’t wait for 1st May too.

The Mystery of Comparison: Spiritual Ranking

Last week, we talked about the only way to compare yourself wisely; by comparing your current state to the full stature of Christ. That is God’s ultimate purpose of all of us individually and cooperately.

Even naturally, we aren’t all on the same rank. As humans, we rank higher than all living things on earth. They are living things because they don’t have a spirit. We are living beings, and our spirits are everlasting. Therefore, we innately rank higher than all living things by design. The devil ranks higher than certain angelic beings by design. Apart from design, we rank according to stature. Yes, you are a child of God but as long as your remain a child, you rank no higher than a servant.

‭‭Galatians 4:1-3 NKJV‬
[1] Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, [2] but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. [3] Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world.

A sword in the hands of an infant is no threat to an enemy. The enemy knows that that toddler possesses no understanding and skill to wield the sword. However, God in his infinite riches, protects us from certain battles above us. Don’t get me wrong! As a child of God, you rank FAR ABOVE principalities and powers. You don’t yet possess, but you have access. Unlimited access. You rank far above because you are hid in Christ. This is Christ who ranks far above and has given you unlimited access.

‭‭Ephesians 1:19-21 NKJV‬
… and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

Therefore, the level of your ranking is directly proportional to how much Christ is formed in you. In Christ dwells the fulness of the Godhead. How much of the fullness have you allowed in you? Have you built up the capacity? Have you completely, continually, and daily surrendered? You are going to crucify your flesh daily, carry your cross daily, and allow Christ to be formed in you to the extent that even the life you live in the flesh glorifies God. The formation of Christ in us is a purpose that precedes sin and will continue into eternity.

God is unlimited, and that is why He creates with potential. We are not stuck at the rank of our design. We have the capacity to expand as we behold Christ. Even Adam had potential. He had to pass certain tests in order to grow in stature. Once He passed the test of work, God expanded His capacity to experience intimacy by creating Eve. Eventually, Adam would have grown in stature to possess the knowledge of good and evil had he continually remained in obedience. This is why all things are available to you but certain things don’t manifest until you pass certain tests. Some blessings will rather destroy you if you don’t have the required stature to possess such blessings. So God, in His mercy, works on you until whatever that is not of him dies in you so Christ can continue to be formed in you. You must decrease and He must increase.

A toddler is not allowed to go into battle even if he is a prince. The King hides the toddler and grooms the toddler until a King is formed in the toddler. During the hiding, the King prevents the toddler from fighting certain battles because of the toddler’s level of maturity. Selah! It is actually mercy. The truth is, you will never be given authority until you have been under authority. You have to be trusted with that authority. Because truly, authority is delegated. It is not your power; it is the Power delegated to you by God. Authority in the hands of a fool is dangerous and unrepresentative of a Wise King. It is free but it will cost you everything.

Christ will lead you from victory unto victory. Follow His lead. Without Him, you can do nothing. He will never cast pearls before swine or give what is holy to dogs. Don’t seek Him because you want power. Seek the person, not the power. It is the work of the Holy Spirit to train you into a person worthy of the authority entrusted to you, lest you bring shame to the name of the Lord. Selah!

The Mystery of Comparison V: Comparing Yourself with Yourself

When we think about how we are doing compared to ourselves, it can make us feel a lot of things. Sometimes, we worry about the future and get anxious. We think about all the things we want to do and worry we’re not good enough. Other times, we look back at what we’ve already done and feel pretty good. But if we do that too much, we might stop trying to do better.

Here’s the thing: the most important comparison we can make is between how we are right now and the full measure of the stature of Christ. This helps us focus on what’s really important in life. Thinking too much about the future can make us feel anxious. We might set big goals for ourselves and then feel bad if we don’t reach them. It’s like always worrying about what’s coming next and forgetting to live and make the most of now.

There’s a big trending misconception that we should compare ourselves with our past; it will make us happy. However, that is not always a feeling of gratitude. Sometimes, that is a feeling of complacency or pride.

Looking back at what we’ve already achieved can make us feel good. But if we spend too much time patting ourselves on the back, we might stop trying to improve. We could get stuck in the past instead of moving forward. So, where does that leave us? It leaves us right here, in the present moment. Instead of worrying about the future or dwelling on the past, we can focus on now. This is how life is lived in time.

The most important thing to remember is to compare ourselves to the example and stature of Jesus. He ought to live ‭”until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:13). It’s not about being the best version of ourselves. Even if it is, that version is not within you as the world keeps saying. That version is in Christ alone.

One of the fallacies in this era of “self”

So, let’s keep it simple. Instead of worrying about the future or dwelling on the past, let’s focus on the present moment. And let’s compare ourselves to the full measure of the fulness of Christ. If we do that, we’ll be on the right track to living a fruitful life.

The Mystery of Comparison IV: Comparing Yourself with Others

God is Daniyyel. He is the One who vindicates. The Office of the Judge only belongs to deities who hold the perfect balance to wield authority in determining what is good and evil. That is why in the physical realm, no one is above the Law. The judge at our law court holds no authority unless the one given to him/her according to the jurisdiction of the land and the laws thereof. The judge’s verdict, therefore, is based on the discretion that only emanates from the laws that govern the judge’s jurisdiction.

God is the Eternal Judge of all, and of course, His case is different. For Him, His Words are law. No other deity in heaven, on earth or under the earth, holds the perfect balance to wield authority in determining good and evil. This is the sin Lucifer committed (by comparing himself to God – I will be like the Most High) and caused Adam and Eve to commit when they took the fruit of the knowledge of the tree of good and evil and became like God.

Since then, man has caught himself sometimes jumping onto the Throne of Judgement and wielding the mysteries of comparison to their demise. A sin that seems so innocent and yet has dire consequences that sometimes can not be atoned until its age has ended. Lucifer’s sin consumes him forever, and the consequences of Adam’s sin, although not everlasting, can only end with the end of this age.

If you compare yourself with others who are higher than you…

Low Self-Esteem

It is not wrong to know others who are above you. In fact, by acknowledging those above you, you honour them. It is kings who shall come to your rising. Don’t think that we are all at the same level. Don’t compare yourself with others just because we are at different levels. Avoid both extremes. If it took someone 15 years, it doesn’t mean it will take you 15 years. It doesn’t work like that. By comparing yourself with others who have gone ahead of you, you shoot yourself in the foot even before you start. It is by looking to Jesus that we see our real worth. Look to any other man higher than you, and you’ll only see your low self-esteem.

If you compare yourself with others who are lower than you….

Pride

Pride is so foolish, yet it is one of the cardinal sins. Every great man continually had to face the test of pride. For every new level you reach, you must pass the test of pride that comes with it. Everything is to the Glory of God. The only one who can give you Glory is God Himself. If anyone else gives you glory, give it to God immediately, so He would rather give it to you. Pride is giving yourself glory. If you think God will watch you share in a glory He hasn’t given you, then you are mistaken. It’s only a matter of time until you and your pride are destroyed. Pride is the quickest way to destruction. Certain laws need no activation (prayer, giving, declaration etc to activate). One of them is Proverbs 16:18. It will always come to pass without fail, regardless of the one who triggered it.

If you compare yourself with others who are on your level…

False Hope

There is no such thing as being behind others in life. A lot of people look at their peers and draw the weirdest conclusions. Behind who? Who says you are running your race with them? It sounds logical to compare yourself to people like you. It doesn’t make it right. Your truest potential is your comparison to the stature of Christ. The Holy Spirit’s task is that through your yield, you are continually conformed to the image of Christ. It is not even about making it in this life. How long is this life in the first place? Throw away that false hope. We have a hope of Resurrection and a Revealed Glory because His Spirit dwells in us. Christ in you: the Hope of Glory.

Let’s take the other 3 (Anxiety, Complacency, etc) next week, God willing. I hope you learnt a lot. A seed has been sown into the fertility of your heart. Btw I usually don’t “fully” explain the weight of certain words or deep sentences that I write as a way to draw you more to seek the knowledge of God for yourselves. In that way, I don’t become your source of enlightenment, only an insignia. Leave a comment if you can. To be continued…
