What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger

What you are will be tested.

Circumstances serve a very useful purpose. It comes to test what you are and what you’re made of. In Jesus’ analogy in Matthew 7:24-27, the rains, streams and winds came on both buildings. Why? To test the strength of their respective foundations.

Proverbs 24:10 says, “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small”.

Circumstances come to test your strength not your weakness. Whether you become stronger or weaker depends on what you made of the circumstance. If it’s inevitable, do not pray to God to take away the circumstance. Rather ask yourself, “What did this circumstance come to test?“, and shine.

When you encounter a problem, don’t pray that “good” times should come. Be the solution. Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better.

I love you ❤️
