The God Factor

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”

‭‭John‬ ‭15:4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

How many times have we deceived ourselves that we can do it all on our own? How many times have we watched the world and thought we can actually make it without God? It’s a delusion.

We have been planted with Christ. Therefore, the only way we can bear fruit is in Christ. We cannot bear fruit unless we remain in Christ. To remain means to continually abide. He is our resting place, our secret place, our safe refuge.

The world may produce fruit but take your time and think about it. Is it a fruit that lasts? On the outward, they may look satisfied and sustained and successful but trust me, you do not want to see what’s on the inside.

Because we see only their outside, we compare our insides to their outside and think God doesn’t need to be in the equation. God IS the equation. Without Him, there is no equation. Until we realize that, we’ll never be fruitful in any area of our lives.

Do you think you can make it without God?
