Understanding the Financial System of God

If you want to be financially rich the God way, kindly read and understand this. It’s a new era of utmost possibilities and God is pouring tremendous financial favour on nations for intensive and extensive kingdom work. I am compelled to teach you systems – instead of mere goals – so that the system built in this era of seasons is not lost when the season closes, just like Joseph taught Pharaoh.

Every system has a structure, and every structure has strategies. I will soon discuss the structure and strategies of the Systems of God in general for your understanding. A system is held by a structure. A structure holds up your circulatory system, for instance. The structure keeps the system in a loop such that the system is not linear but cyclical. Once any part of the structure falls short, it affects the entire system.

Now that you understand this fundamental, know that God wanting to make you rich is not about you singularly. It’s nice to know that God wants to make you rich – and I know you have received prophecies – but it’s not about you. Systems have individual components that are not standalone; they are interconnected. Your heart needs blood but this blood is to the benefit of the whole body. If you want to be rich for your own selfish ambitions and to satisfy your own lusts, then you can never be rich the God way. Even the devil makes people rich to sponsor his agendas.

If you want God to make you rich so badly, He will take you through a series of tests that will kill many hidden and known carnal desires in you. I will discuss these tests into detail God willing next week. Peradventure you want a soft life because you are fragile and don’t want to struggle in life in any way? This mindset must die, because life is generally tough and will sway you to and fro. What you rather need is to be immovable, unshakable despite the rain (prosperity), flood (overflow/persecution) and wind (disasters). I really do hope you learnt a lot from this because God does not settle for less.

Blessings without Sorrows: the God Way

The financial blessings of God are without sorrows. Meanwhile, those who love money and seek to be rich will be pierced with many sorrows. So for God to give you His financial blessings, He must first of all work on you to remove everything that will cause you sorrows. Indeed, you cannot go through God’s financial system and not end up becoming generous. However, you can choose to pursue money without God and still become extremely rich. That one comes with so many sorrows.

In this era, we should be careful not to measure someone’s prosperity by their spirituality. Wicked people can prosper. The Bible says it many times. Financial prosperity is not proof of true Christianity. We should not think that the reason people pray more is because they have less. Therefore, if they had more they would pray less. That is very sorrowful. Our financial prosperity is not inversely proportional to our spiritual life. This is why God will take the Body of Christ through these series of tests I will discuss (next week) by the Mercies of God.

Principles of Kingdom Prosperity

Remember these principles forever, especially if you are to be a Kingdom financier. In fact, write down in your journal. 1. God is a God of abundance, not waste. 2. God will not sponsor a project He did not initiate. 3. Your ability to manage His resources determines how much of His resources He releases to you.

There is so much more to share but there’s not enough space to share it.

When I talk about the strategies and structures of the Kingdom, you would realise that God has specific keys for specific doors. You cannot use the Blood of Jesus to do what requires the Name of Jesus. You can’t use prayer to replace humility. Every principle has its own place, and every element has its own structure. It is only prayer and meditating on the Word that forms part of every solution. So, what does the structure of financial prosperity require? There are kingdom covenant practices to activate and sustain financial blessings.

Everything is a gift from God, yes! However, God will play His part and we will play our part. God is all-Powerful but He will not play our part for us. Once you understand this partnership, you will not sit there and be waiting on God as if you have no part to play. The Bible is littered with specific things one ought to do to activate financial prosperity. One is giving. Another is tithing. Yet another is honouring those worthy of double honour, including honouring our parents. Another important one is management. Generosity, yet another. Go and find the rest as a good student.

One will say…”but I have been giving my tithes and offerings for as long as I can remember. How come I’m not rich by now?”. If we now start giving because of what we can get, we lose the real essence. We are rather giving because we are willing to lose it all for Him. Giving is our expression of love. “God so loved…that He gave..”. In fact, one of the Hebrew words for love is “ahava”, which means to give. Therefore, our giving is not a transaction but our expression of love. Imagine if your Mom provides for you because of what she can get from you. Let us not give to God with that corrupt mindset.

What tithes and offerings also does is that it regulates our hearts from being more attached to the temporary things of this world. It is God’s regulation system of our hearts from the love of money. If you can’t pay tithe when you get $20, you can never pay tithe when you start to get $200,000. Tithes and offerings is a system God put in place as our form of worship to Him so that money remains a tool and not an idol in our lives. It is a reminder that it is His, and we are willing to use it how He wants it. If it becomes a transaction, it is no different from gambling.

Next week, God willing, we will discuss the various tests one has to pass in order to become a steward of God’s financial favour. The test of management, the test of abounding and abasing, the test of education, the test of generosity and the likes. Once you pass all these tests faithfully, all your carnal desires to become rich in order to satisfy your cravings will die. What will be left is a vessel of honour worthy of the Master’s use in His Kingdom agenda.
