The Systems of the Kingdom of God

Everything God created, He put in a system. Nature is embedded in an ecosystem. The heavenly bodies are held in a solar system. Even our nourishment is managed by our digestive system. Anything built in a system meant to keep it running is sustainable. This is one of the things the devil learnt from the rulership of God. The day iniquity was found in him, he decided to also establish his own kingdom and run it via systems.

Since the devil cannot create anything, he decided to employ the resources and entities from God’s kingdom into his. In our series on the Strategies of the Kingdom of Darkness, he realised how that kingdom is not as haphazard as we used to think. They are very strategic in their approach and systematic in their battle orders. All that was a corrupted counterfeit version of the original everlasting Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is well-structured, well-organized and systemized.

God is the only person in existence that possesses omniscience. The devil is not all-knowing. We overestimate him in that regard. Only God is. Therefore, there is nothing that has happened, that is happening and will happen that will catch God by surprise. He has not changed His purpose one bit. There’s no time He went, “Oh no! They’ve spoiled my plans. Time to re-strategize”. He is All-knowing.

The amazing thing is, He is not just all-knowing. He is all-Powerful. Sometimes you can know something will happen but you don’t possess the power to do something. It’s like seeing a mango fall from a tree at a distance but not having the ability to stop the fruit from hitting the ground. Although He gave His creation free will to start something without Him, He alone possesses eternality. That means anything that is not part of any of His systems will not last. What a God!

In the upcoming weeks, I am going to show some of the systems, structures and accompanying strategies of the Kingdom of God. God is not haphazard. God is reasonable. God is logical. It will interest you to know that when I wrote on the Logic of God, we established that the Word (translated logus in Greek) is where we get the word “logic” from. The Word of God is the Logic of God. He is the God of Logic, for His invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – has been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made.

Justice is a system. Grace is a system. There are defined ways to access anything in the Kingdom. There are expressed principles on how to use the resources available in the Kingdom. There are defined instructions on what to do and how to do it. Instructions are scaffolds that build His structure within us; instructions. Information in the Kingdom forms His formats inside us. Thus, we are not informed but formed into what He has predestined us to be. His structure and formation is systemized.

Even the Body of Christ is an amalgamation of systems, just like the human body. There are patterns to be seen, precepts to discover, practices to walk in, prayers to partake in, promises to take hold of, prophecies to ascertain the foreshadows, and principles to apply. This series will do well to capture the Christmas season in God’s bigger picture. It’s going to be an exciting experience to explore the knowledge of God and be in awe of the one who knows all things and holds all systems together.
